(TGBH) What’s hood yall! We’re fresh off completing the Running Predictions series and we’re about to wrap this one up! We’ve seen some of our RAW and Smackdown luchadores, as well as rising stars from AAA. Sure it’s been predictable from the beginning, but I’ve had a hell of a time watching. I even gave Fenix vs. Dragon Lee 5 Espressos. Today, we are officially announcing the addition of a new member within thee ranks of thee blog World order, our good pal Brandon of the Ope-Eh 3-Way!!
(B-OE3W) Oh, hey dere! Thanks for having me, fellas! What I’m about to say may not be controversial and may impose on some people, though it merits saying: we ALL knew it would come to this. Penta v Fenix was an inevitability from the moment Fenix’s contract ink dried, and there wasn’t a La Parka or a Fiscal or even (especially) a Dragon Lee that would have impeded that. I’ve taken up with the boys at the Ope-Eh 3-Way in agreement that Penta’s time to ascend to the main event is upon us. I have my thoughts on who takes it home on Raw, but…I dunno, I’m less than optimistic that CDMX gets the upset of the century. I’d be curious to know what you fellas think! (And our readers, naturally 😉)
(IG) What up y’all! I know… this is weird right? I’m on a prediction blog that isn’t AEW. Don’t worry, I won’t be here for long. I just wanted to take a moment to welcome Brandon into the BWO. I’ve had the pleasure of chatting some pro rasslin’ with him in the past. And I can confirm, this dude knows ball. I’m so stoked to see another addition to the BWO rank, and can’t wait to see where we go next!

(PCM) To be fair, this has been one of the most predictable tournaments in recent memory. Absolutely no upsets. And for what? A chance to lose to Roman? Kind of a shitty prize. Let the RAW vampire suck the life force out of AAA for some false positivity. This is has ‘I have a Mexican friend, see?’ written all over it.
(DSS) We're finally here at the end of this fake ass tournament. Yes the matches were good but everyone knew how this tournament would go. WWE loved getting to showcase their luchadores without having to put a single AAA-specific talent over.
PreGame w/bWo:
Mexico City Number 1 Contender Tournament
Round 3
Penta vs. Rey Fenix

(TGBH) Here we go yall, it all comes down to this. Brother versus Brother, Mario versus Luigi, Ragnar versus Rollo, Mufasa versus Scar. A tale as old as time, two brothers enters and only one will emerge victorious. A grand display of the bright future AAA holds has come down to two guys already on the main roster. We could have saved this match for another time, but then again the hype they needed to generate for Mexico City RAW cant just be pulled out of thin air. Look for these two to put on a bell to bell classic, for who knows these two guys better than themselves. Plenty of reversals, bountiful aerial offense, and excitement galore.
(PCM) I picked this from the start. I knew this was the final; there was no other option. Don’t get me wrong, this match will rule. But as easy as it was to pick the final, it will be even easier to pick the winner. But we are wasting a great match just so Roman can beat someone in their home country. As great as the tournament was, the prize is awful. Look for Penta to win an amazing match.
(DSS) This is what everyone has been wanting, right? The Lucha Brothers together. This is the exact context we all expected, too. Being used as props to enhance Roman's needless WHC reign. They're just being used as a stop on Roman's way to LA Knight (yeah?). And it's so ducking obvious that Penta is winning, because he's the one who has actually had consistent use from the fed, and has an actual connection with mainstream fans.
(B-OE3W) GBH, you forgot Thor and Loki. And Kane and Undertaker. And Cain and Abel. I digress! Fenix is certainly not the favorite to win this match, talented and gilded as he is. I am sure that Fenix will be granted world title opportunities in the future. His current run as AAA Cruiserweight Champion is a beacon of light that attracts many worthy and exciting contenders in a division for which I have LONG advocated. Penta also just came off a VERY hot run as Intercontinental Champion, and - great as their Summerslam match was - I don’t see Penta and Gable running it back. This is a turning of the page for Penta. Regardless of how we feel a match with El Jefe Tribal may end for him, it will be a match to solidify the notion that Penta is ready to swim with the big (dog)fish con CERO MIEDO.
