One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
February 6-9, 2026

This week has really started us on the path to the Elimination Chamber. And that means that we are well on our way to WrestleMania. The feuds and main events are starting to really take shape. It’s the best time of year to be WWE fans, and I’ve got theories on how the WrestleMania card will come together, but that’s not what this blog is about.
Let’s take a quick news break before I get into the spots:
WWE Superstar Bad Bunny headlined this year’s Super Bowl, and the game itself was awful. The fantastic halftime show was one of the biggest and best halftime shows of all time. And it’s not just me saying it, other people are saying it. NBC Sports is saying it; CNN is saying it.
Big E is officially retired. He also holds no grudge against Ridge Holland, which should not surprise anyone. It sucks that he is done in the ring, but I love seeing him on the PLE pre and post show events.
Bron Breakker is out after having a hernia surgery. That’s horrible timing, but rumors say he should be back for WrestleMania.
Enough of that, let’s get to why we’re here.
One Match
This was actually hard to choose, but this match absolutely did it for me on multiple levels. Lash has been allowed to look so strong on the main roster, but she isn’t what truly caught my eye here.
Chelsea Green looked like the fucking star that she is in the match. I really hope Michael Hayes bullshit comments were really just a work to get her more sympathy because she’s absolutely incredible. The fans were behind her, and while I think she’d be a very fun Chamber competitor, I'm glad Tiffy moved on.
One Moment
Same, Johnny Gargano. Same.
Gargano being in a depression after losing Axiom’s mask is both funny but relatable. Seeing him just lay on top of the container (and continue to bit on social media) is about how I feel any time I think of having to do…well…anything. Probably not super healthy on my end, but it was funny to see.
One Promo
Cody Raheem Rhodes.
The name that the internet has been running with for years finally got mentioned on live TV (not just a question on his podcast). The internet’s reaction is mixed, but it was genuinely unexpected and hilarious the way he used it. Saying he has it because he would win a you-know-what measuring contest was not expected on WWE television, and Brandi tweeting that it is true makes it even funnier.
Honorable Mentions
I really wanted to put The Usos vs. Alpha Academy in my match slot. Akira Tozawa was showing out, but the missed superkick from Jey on Otis bumped it out of the slot. It was an understandable botch. That timing looked difficult.
Rhea vs. Ivy vs. Lyra sounds like a match that should have made the spot, but it was a little sloppy. Plus, I watched Raw twice and the first time I watched I had zero memories of this match
Finn Balor. That’s it. Finn Balor. The backstage moment where he said he still wants singles gold. Crashing the interview to call out Punk. Give me more of this Finn, and give him a world title, damnit.
Hot Girls Love Dominik Mysterio. Honestly, the shirt alone could have gotten the One Moment spot. My shirt will be on its way soon.
That’s it for the week, y’all. Make sure you stay locked in to everything on the Main Event Network, and I’ll be back next Wednesday. Be sure to follow me @DarkstarShady on X and everywhere else so we can talk wrestling.
