One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
June 26-29, 2026

Holy shit y’all. We had an absolutely crazy weekend of wrestling and Main Event content last weekend. I know OMOMOP is coming in late, but I think it’s because I overloaded on wrestling and needed a cooldown period before my brain could really process all of it.
This post is going to be heavy on the back end, so let’s skip the rumors and get into it.
One Match
This has to have been the hardest part to pick this week, because the weekly shows did not impress me. There was a lot of buildup on Smackdown, and raw felt lackluster after the PPVs and PLE’s
Then I remember Jacy Jayne had a match on Friday night. It wasn’t the greatest match ever, but Jacy held her own against Paige and made it a competitive fight. I’ve fully come around on Jacy and I love when she’s on screen.

One Moment
You already know what the best moment was.

Blake Monroe is finally on the main roster. Blake Monroe is finally on the main roster and I am so fucking excited. I’ve been waiting for this since the first rumors of Blake joining WWE came about after the Hollywood Ending in AEW. Attacking Giulia was a great move and I hope she can move up the card quickly.
One Promo

I’m gonna give this to the guy who may never get into this spot again. Brock Lesnar actually went out to the ring and spoke.
I don’t think anyone will ever call Brock a good promo, but it was fun. He came out, said he heard Oba Femi was talking that shit, and set up a Hell in a Cell match. And seeing him sound excited with Paul Heyman and say it was a good promo was just the icing on the cake..
Honorable Mentions
Lyra’s heel video was great. I can’t wait to see where she goes.
Iyo Sky is the cutest person on the roster. How can anyone not like her?
Maxxine Dupri finally got back in the ring and showed off her skills. And did she get broken up with by Austin Theory?
Tiffany Stratton in the midcard and tagging is absolutely wonderful. Let’s be honest, she is my favorite and I did just spend over $120 on her jacket in the WWE shop, but she needs to get more reps in. Her ring rust showed a bit but keeping her wrestling is doing wonders for her.
Yeah, yeah, I know it hasn’t really happened, but I’m so over Seth and Roman being intertwined together.
Night of Champions
WWE gave us a bigger card than usual. Thanks ESPN.
I cannot fucking believe that Sami Zayn won the WWE Championship. I’m in shock. I’m… I just…
Tiffany Stratton was the first woman to defend the Women’s U.S. belt on a PLE, and of course she retained. You know we’re always running on Tiffy Time in this household.
I didn’t need Seth to win over Bron.
NXT Great American Bash
Let’s keep this short. Great show, but the blog is running long.
I didn’t care for most of the men’s matches on the card.
Zaria and Tatum Paxley were incredible. They mesh so well in the ring. I can’t wait for Tater’s call-up.
KENDAL GREY! We have a new women’s champion in NXT, and it just so happens that the future of women’s professional wrestling has already begun.
TNA Slammiversary
I can’t believe the Hardys won.
I can’t believe (I can) that Mike Santana lost. He’ll be in WWE faster than you realize.
Forbidden Door
Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland had one of the best matches of the year. It was right up there with El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano.
I wish Starlight Kid could have actually won over Thekla.
My faves The Divine Dominion are unstoppable. Keep the straps on them.
Why did we bring in The Dogs if they’re just going to eat pins? They should be dominating.
Oh hey Jay White, you’re back!
MAN that’s a lot of wrestling. And this post is coming at you just before we start it all over again with Smackdown tonight. Until next time. Be sure to follow me over on Twitter @DarkstarShady
