We at the Main Event Wrestling Network got a 12 Hour Live Stream coming down the pipe this Saturday with WWE doing the honorable thing and waiting til the day after to air a PLE live from Paris. Ball so hard or fall so hard? That shit still kray. And if they air it live in French, I will understand every word cause thanks to Pierre Escargot, I indeed know french, ha ha ha!
(PCM)Hey yo. So here we are. The last PLE on Peacock. How much damage will there be from the new deal with ESPN? We don’t know. On paper, the picks do seem pretty obvious. It would be nice if the non-Big 4 were not like this so much. I mean, the match quality is there, but the outcomes are kinda obvious.
(DSS) The bWo is united again and I’m back making middle of the night predictions I’m going to lose track of until I reread this. Clash in Paris came way too quickly after SummerSlam and the matches are all over the place. The value of Peacock deserved at least one more championship match on its last hurrah. It’s going to be a sad goodbye, and I’ve already had to upgrade my Disney bundle so I’ll be able to watch Wrestlepalooza in a few weeks. I do wonder if ESPN will get the full-event replays up faster than Peacock has… Enough about the future, I’m just excited to be able to go make myself some food during Sheamus and Rusev on Sunday.

Pre-Game with bWo: Clash in Paris
Roman Reigns ☝🏾 vs. Bronson Reed
(TGBH) Feels like this match will open the show. Roman Reigns is at the top of the wrestling world in regards to popularity and star power, a visual that no longer surprises me. With everyone else tied up with Cody’s title and Seth’s “This belt was made cause no one could beat Roman” Heavyweight Championship, Reigns is taking the back seat in a way and letting the cats in the upper card get their shine on like a Bird Man song. Bloodline 2.0’s Bronson Reed has taken it upon himself to rid Reigns of his footwear like a shoe sponsorship campaign cut short. Solo Sikoa is surely out there somewhere smiling and laughing his ass off as Reed continually sends Reigns home barefoot. Whilst Reigns and Jey were successful against the Bron Brons, Reigns will do the job and take a few Tsunamis for the team. Bronson needs this win more than anything, otherwise he’s just another goon that steals shoes for fun.
(PCM) I like the position Bronson is in within The Vision. We all know that Bron Breakker is the future. Bronson is there to be the massive wall protecting Bron and Seth. He can dish out massive amounts of damage, but he can take a lot as well. He makes people look so good in the ring, which will get him far. However, I do not see Roman losing. Reed will get his share of licks in, but will take the L here. Do not be surprised, however, if the shoe-la fala gets bigger tho.
(DSS) Bronson Reed is being booked the right way, finally. He gave the best promo he could have on Monday night against Roman. And yet, I still can’t get myself to fully care about this match. I don’t really get the point of this feud, and The Vision keeps drawing superstars into their vortex with no payoff. Roman and Jey should have lost their tag match at SummerSlam to give Bron and his son momentum going forward, so if Bronson doesn’t win this one, they may as well throw this faction away.

Women’s IC Championship Match:
Becky Lynch(c) vs. Nikki Bella
(PCM) This is what I mean by obvious outcomes. I have always been a huge fan of Becky. I like this heel run better than Big Time Becks. This has been great. I will be honest, I have never been a Bellas fan. But respectfully, Nikki did improve a lot towards the end of her initial run. I am sure she has had some ring time to get in shape, but is there enough ring rust off? I do not see this as being a bad match, but there is no way Becky drops the title to someone who is not a current full-time wrestler.

John Cena vs. Logan Paul
(DSS) This is the match we’ve all been waiting for from Cena’s retirement tour. The face of the company vs. the face of the future. The U.S. spinner belt vs. the greatest modern day U.S. champ. I’m genuinely unsure if Cena really does see a big future for Logan Paul, or if the ratings bump that TKO sees from this match is driving it. You can’t deny Logan Paul is a top tier in-ring performer. He’s grown leaps and bounds over the last couple years, and if Cena can put on a show like he did against Cody, this may be the match of the night. It’s hard to believe Cena might lose two PLEs in a row, but he’s going to put over the future Undisputed Champ in a big way.

Sheamus vs. Rusev
Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook Match
(TGBH) Two dudes who probably go out and drink barrels of beer at the local pubs together on a daily basis are about to scrap it out, again. Both have plenty of history together and will dish the hardest knocks in attempts to knock the other out. This is gonna be a slobberknocker. This will not be for the weak of heart. You can expect the crowd to feed these two beasts of men, adding to the match’s aura. This rivalry is slowly evolving into something more in what I can only hope is them being paired together. What? We gonna have Sheamus go after the IC belt AGAIN? Nah, not yet. RAW needs more tag teams and these two would be an upgraded version of The Bar that could make a very dominant run in today’s RAW ranks.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins(c) vs. CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight
(TGBH) Looks like we got ourselves a match between three of the last four World Heavyweight champs, and LA Knight. The mechanics of this feud have been superb as they have intertwined multiple storylines from the last few years successfully, and found something for LA Knight to do too i guess. Rollins’ reign is being cut short tonight. The question is, who takes the pin in a match that is essentially a No DQ match. No matter the outcome, all four of these guys will remain at the top of the card for the next few months so this will be a good base to kick off the next leg of the PLE stretch. I dont expect any surprises, but maybe we’ll see some friendships crumble and new rivalries intensify. Seth is the right man, for now, to walk out as the winner.
(PCM) This match can either go really good or really badly. Talent-wise, we have 4 of the top guys on Raw. But there are so many stories that need to be told, will we have enough time? I’m not sure. Just like the majority of the card, this result is easy. Seth is not losing. The only question is who is taking the fall. I see LA Knight doing the duty. You could make the case for Jey as well, especially if we get the Usos back as a team.
(DSS) There have been so many multi-person matches for titles, I’m starting to feel over them. LA Knight doesn’t belong in the main event card, and he’s strictly here to take the pinfall to keep Seth and Punk circling each other. Jey Uso had his run with the title already, and while it should have been longer, I don’t see him getting it back. The two year Punk-Rollins feud is going to go another year since Chick Magnet won’t be involved in the finish. This match is going to be too overbooked to be match of the night when compared to the cinema that Cena and Paul will be putting on display. I’m just curious to see how long it is before Bron Breakker comes out and starts handing out spears.
