Hello there wrestling fans of the world wide webernet. My name is The Great Brown Hope. But you, you already knew that. And yall already know what goes on in the wrestling world. We all keep up as best as we can. And some of us, like myself and the good people of Main Event Wrestling Network, do as best we can to provide a little something extra when it comes to wrestling content.
This time around, I wanted to do something special.
I wanted to show some love to The Hobby, the hobby that is collecting wrestling cards.
Look, I get it. It might not be as cool as it sounds, but how do you NOT find the collection of my boy Mr.Greencircleyall's to be TOO COOL? That's just a taste of what he has in his collection of wrestling cards.
Just check out #TheHobby on twitter and tell me you wont end up finding something you find to be cool as fack. It's gonna happen.
You'll also find some very good people on there that look out for each other and help find what someone is looking for. You'll end up making friends with some of the coolest cats on the planet. The coolest cats with the coolest collections showcasing the variety that wrestling cards have to offer. Just check out this sick wall of fame like display of some highlights of KJRozcoe's collection.
Wrestling cards have grown to evolve over the years. Following the marketing and trends set by sports that did it first, you can now come to find a vast variety of limited print parallels, relics, and autographs. Cards that have taken the market to new heights in all aspects as sales continue to climb and break record numbers. And there will always be fun in chasing wrestling cards and parallels.
Feast your eyes on KJRozcoe's full rainbow of each available parallel for this 2023 Road Dogg card. The sheer satisfaction that comes with completing a full rainbow is a feeling that can only be felt and not described.
People are buying wrestling cards. Which means there will also be goons swooping up cases to flip for profit and nothing else. This is evident when they cant pronounce any wrestler's name correctly on live breaks. And with demand there will always be more supply. And with more supply people like myself will continue to stay on the hunt.
I for one have the best Shayna Baszler Super Collection, but that's another Storee (inserting hyperlink here later) for another day.
I went out and asked a few friends of mine to send some cards over that they are fond of in their ever expanding, magnificent collections. Friends of mine who are good people to those in the hobby. Friends of mine that continue to spread love expecting nothing in return. Mad love to those folks from The Great Brown Hope and the people of The Hobby.

5. Immaculate Celebrations - BOOKER T /49

Who better at the five spot on Brown's Five at 5 than the five time FIVE TIME WCW CHAMPION Booker T.
This card comes from the 2022 Panini WWE Immaculate Collection series. This autograph subset features the best of the best from WWF, WCW, and WWE. Only ten superstars are included in this subset and one variously numbered parallel of each card, this limited print is a beauty that's worth celebrating. On card signatures are often preferred, and this high end product does not fail to deliver. The strong signature blends well with the mat in which the former King Booker celebrates with his classic Spinarooni. With only 49 in existense, and only five cards per box of WWE Immaculate, this card is an almost impossible find. Truly a treasure.
4. Autographed Ladder Relic - DAMIAN PRIEST Citrine Parallel /75

I for one was hoping someone would send in a card of a current world champion and my blog prayers were answered. This card comes from the Topps WWE Fully Loaded 2021 series, a series where every box contains just one card, an encased hit. Hits are cards that are either relics, autographs, and in some instances printing plates. A nice set that gets down to the nitty gritty if you're just hunting for hits as opposed to buying a hobby box or two. With multiple parallels of this card in a variety of numbered short prints, even this version numbered to 75 is a tough one to find if you're buying boxes of the product. Broski Brad sent this one in as he was a big Punishment Martinez fan and has enjoyed his...RISE since his days of working the independent circuit. The ladder relic adds even more to the card as Brad's favorite type of match is the Ladder Match, making this card a prized jewel in his collection.
3. Piece of the Ring Relics - WWF RING MAT

There is alot more than meets the eye (sit your ass down Optimus) in this 2000 Comic Images WWF No Mercy Piece of the Ring Relic Card. This card belongs to a good friend of mine who at one point was known as Mr. Mat Relic on youtube/tiktok/twitter/ig as he was running (green)circles(yall) around the world wide web collecting any and every mat relic card he could get his green hands on. The mission was simple, collect enough mat relic cards that total up to the same size as a WWF/WWE wrestling mat. That's pretty facking rad if you ask me. And as soon as he got ahold of this specific card, he no longer felt the need to collect mat relics.. The relic is possibly, as there is no guarantee guaranteeing it so, from the SummerSlam 1999 event. The front of the card is The Rock vs Billy Gunn Kiss My Ass Match, but knowing how Comic Images rolled, it could be anything.
This card holds a special place in GCYs heart and collection as of all the relic cards in existence, this card means the most because it's the only one of a PPV he watched in high school. Not to mention this is also the FIRST match relic ever made.
2. Throwback Signatures - ROMAN REIGNS Green Pulsar Prizm /10

This marvel of a beauty comes from the 2023 Panini Prizm WWE set. The Panini Prizm sets have not failed to deliver a vast variety of autograph cards from various, and many, Superstars of today and yesteryears. One or two might say one too many as even with each hobby box promising two autographs, it's not easy getting the Superstar you'd want. Sure you could buy em on ebay, but for a heftier price. Card collecting is not for the weak of heart. But you also gotta trust in the heart of the cards. Plus mix in some good karma and you'll be sure to always hit some big pulls like my boy KJRoz.
But this one is special. The only way to get this card is via Redemption card. Redemption cards are found the same way as other relics or autographs, except you have to send in your redemption card to the company that produced the product and they will send you back the card listed on said redemption.
Sure that sounds cool and all but there's always the small risk of not getting your redemption card as some redemptions never end up getting fulfilled. There's still a small chance you'll get something else that's closer in value or resemblance. But not in this case. After sending in his redemptiom card, KJRozcoe received this lustrous Roman Reigns autograph, a Prizm parallel in which only 10 copies of that specific color exist. And with Our Tribal Chief front and center with his WWE Universal Championship, this card is the perfect throwback to a time where Our Tribal Chief reigned supreme, a reign that will be the greatest tale told then, now, and forever(together!!).

This one is a HEAVY hitter. We've talked about parallels in this post. But this parallel is the cream of the cheese. Seriously.
A 1 of 1 is the biggest print you can get of any parallel, as there is only ONE. Many have failed to complete full rainbows of their favorite superstars as either someone else has pulled it or the price is too high on the second and third markets. Or simply because it hasnt been found in the wild yet. Nonetheless, this 1 of 1 of The Man Becky Lynch needs no Mansplaining. See what I did there? Ha. Ha.
Our Good Brother Mike sent this one in as he achieved the feat of pulling a 1 of 1 from a Becky Lynch spot he purchased from a live break. And Mike collects Becky Lynch so I can only imagine his reaction once the breaker (sit your ass down Bron) pulled this card. And that's not to mention the Lita 1 of 1 he hit not too long after. And let me tell ya, he's been on a roll lately.
And because this isnt a perfect world, not everyone was pleased to see our Good Brother Mike hit that Becks 1 of 1. Oh no no. Apparently these other Becky Lynch collectors insisted they are the only ones that collect Becky Lynch. Even going as far as telling GBM to collect someone else. The audacity I telleth thee! But unlike a poker player with a useless hand, Mike did not fold. The card has been delivered and is now safe and sound with the rest of his collection. A jewel that now carries a storee of how even in the coolest of communities, stuff and thangs can get crazy so play your cards right. But that's the beauty of collecting wrestling cards I tell ya hwat. There is always a butterfly flying amidst the violence. There's always a snake in the water. And there's always a hole in the tire. Or whatever shakespeare said.
