Welcome back yall to another!

ree

What happened to the game I love? Oh that's right, it's facken awesome!

It's been quite some time now since the announcement was made that the fed had acquired AAA and to me, it's been uphill ever since.

ree

I've been all over this new partnered programming that has beared bountiful fruit in the form of quality wrestling television. And thanks to the powers that be at the Main Event Wrestling Network, we have been able to cover and predict almost every single event since the first Worlds Collide in Los Angeles.

ree

Since this new WWE/AAA partnership, certain superstars have been able to level up whilst helping bring AAA to the current WWE audience, names like Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Humberto Carrillo, Angel Garza, Santos Escobar, Ethan Page, Jordan Devlin McDonagh, Lola Vice, Natalya, El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio, who is now AAA's Heavyweight Champion. And while AAA has the talent to hold it's own, this exposure to the brand will turn their stars into Superstars. For some it has happened already. For instance, Mr. Iguana.

ree

Yup, that guy is bound for the main roster full time any day now. Featured more and more often, Mr. Iguana has become a fan favorite amongst the WWE Universe and is always welcomed with a warm, loud embrace. Dont get it twisted, this partnership is all business and will have AAA serve as a brand to pick talent out from to teach em the WWE style and get em on their main programming. Let's talk about it. Well..... With the likes of Mr. Iguana, Psycho Clown, and El Hijo Del Vikingo bound for main roster greatness sooner than you think, there's definitely PLENTY where they came from.

And guess what yo?

Well, if you guessed The Great Brown Hope has FIVE, count em, FIVE for ya? Then you guessed correctly.

LETS GET TO IT YALL!!

BROWN'S FIVE AT 5

VOLUME 3 / ISSUE 6

FIVE AAA STARS BOUND FOR NXT

5.LADY FLAMMER

ree

Lady Flammer is the current, reigning, defending AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and has now held the title for two years as of today. And after going toe to toe with Natalya and Faby Apache, it isn't hard to see Lady Flammer has got game. At just a young 25 years of age, Lady Flammer is certainly on WWE's radar if she hasn't been signed to a new deal. With a string of female NXT talent likely moving to a new brand soon, there will be spots that will need to be filled. The daughter of Red Flamer, Lady Flammer brings years of experience to the table, having debuted as a competitor when she was just ten years old!! Already a seasoned veteran with Lucha Libre in her veins, Lady Flamer will bring something fresh to the fed. Maybe what the women's division needs is more masked luchadoras to bring on the tradition, and the pride, that comes with competing in lucha libre. If we're gonna hit reset soon, bring in someone Flamming Hot.

4.EL HIJO DE DR. WAGNER JR.

ree

Here we have a third generation Superstar that has been featured heavily on WWE programming since Worlds Collide LA. The fed loves their second and third generation talent, the lineage some of these names carry holds a great a deal of not just respect, but pressure as well. El Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr. has competed in Japan and in Mexico through his 16 year career. The current AAA Latin American Champion's beef with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page are signs of them testing the waters. Wagner III is a bonafide Superstar in every right and will gel perfectly with NXT talent as he makes his way through the fed's developmental program. He will bring with him his own lucha libre legacy, similar to Superstars like Legado Del Fantasma. And there is nothing the WWE loves more than Legacy. The storees write themselves, this will be no different. Tradition is important in this sacred sport, without it we just have two people fighting in a ring. Bring on Wagner III and watch him rise to the occassion against Heights, Evans, Briggs, Borne, Saints, and Williams, just to name a few.

3.EL MESIAS

ree

If there's one word I would use to describe El Mesias, it would be "BADASS". With a near 30 year career under his belt, El Mesias was the first AAA Mega Champion and carried the belt four times. El Mesias has been there and done that, including stints in AAA, MLW, TNA, and in Lucha Underground as Mil Muertes. And having already signed a deal with WWE, El Mesias will continue to be featured in programming for the near future. What NXT needs is a real goon to come in and truly test these young competitors. A truly scary heel that can have a small dominant run to elevate names of young stars looking to get ahead in their young careers. Whilst it may be difficult to find a consistent spot on RAW or Smackdown for El Mesias, NXT will be a great landing spot as he continues to compete in AAA as well. A North American Championship match between El Mesias and El Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr. has a nice ring to it if you ask me. And with the NXT/TNA partnership, there is plenty of talent, and plenty of shows, that could use an opponent like El Mesias.

2.LA HIEDRA

ree

Another talent who has been active since she was a teenager, La Hiedra has a lucha libre career that spans almost 15 years. The Queen of Scandal has also acquired plenty of gold in her years of active competition. Currently one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Champs, with Mr. Iguana, La Hiedra is one of the AAA stars that has inked a deal with the fed. Her current feud with Lola Vice over Mr. Iguana is more than just a storeeline. Don't be caught off guard if you see her featured alot more often and will surely soon join the ranks of the NXT women's division. With stars like Lady Flammer and La Hiedra in the mix, there is sure to be plenty of scandal. La Hiedra, daughter of Sangre Chicana, comes from a bloodline of lucha libre competitors in her brothers, sisters, uncles, and cousins. La Hiedra was bred to be a Lucha Libre Superstar, and now she will carry her family's legacy to the bigger stages of the world of wrestling. Bound for gloree and success, La Hiedra will shine like no other once she hits the performance center and makes her presence known.

1.LA PARKA

ree

When I talk about Lucha Libre, I talk about how sacred the art of the sport truly is. The sacredness that comes with putting on a Lucha Libre mask isn't just for anyone. The chosen few are the elite that make a name for themselves through dedication and perseverence. The chosen few are the ones with Lucha Libre in their DNA, bestowed upon them at birth to continue one's family's historee and tradition. And if there's a name that is known in not just lucha libre, but in ALL of wrestling, it's La Parka.

ree

What I will always love the most about lucha libre is their dedication to honor and respect legacy. This third La Parka is a tribute to Jesús Alfonso Huerta Escoboza, the previous La Parka who sadly passed after an unfortunate in-ring accident. This character was brought back to life to honor, and pay respect, to his legacy. Brazo de Oro Jr., only 26 years old, has been chosen to carry the responsibility of one of the greatest legacies in all of wrestling. And if you ask me, he has most certainly earned that mask, and our hearts.

ree

From his dance moves to his move set, to his dancing whilst executing moves, La Parka III has already become a staple in this new product. And if you watched Triplemania, you would have witnessed La Parka going toe to toe with Omos, with a glimpse of what's to come. A truly cherished and beloved character that has already gotten over with fans in Mexico and the states, La Parka III has already inked a deal and is here to stay. If there's anyone that will thrust AAA to the next level of pro wrestling, it's La Parka III. Not having La Parka III debut on NXT at Halloween Havoc will be a missed opportunity, but he may debut sooner than that. La Parka III is coming to NXT and will surely join the main roster not long after. We are all witnesses to historee, prepare to witness Lucha Libre in all its amazing and decorated gloree.
