Welcome to the weekly Evolve on Tubi review. I am one half of the Blog World Order, PaperclipMike. Last week was one of the best, if not the best, episodes as of yet, with tonight shaping up to be just as good, if not better. So let’s hop into it!

The show opens with a recap of last week, showing our big matches this week. We got not only Kylie Rae in a rematch with Wendy Choo. We get Harlem Lewis and Keanu Carver vs. Swipe Right. (OMG YES!). After Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone welcome everyone, we go to pre-taped comments from Kylie Rae about her match tonight. Come to find out, the teddy bear that Wendy Choo gave Zara Zakher last week belongs to Kyliue’s young son.
Zayda Steel w/ Bryce Donovan vs. Layla Diggs w/ Aria Bennett
Zayda was the first ever wrestler signed to the WWE ID program. Layla has impressive athletic ability, using tumbling and gymnastics to counter Zayda, yet is strong enough for a powerslam and a standing moonsault for a two count. Zayda is able to fight back and hit a codebreaker with Layla in the rope, impressive. Steel stomps on her opponent with a double stomp to the back with a close count of her own. Layla with some nasty kicks to stage a comeback before hitting a double underhook suplex. Layala goes for a moonsault but lands on her feet as Zayda moves. Zayda then follows up with the ZDT for the win.
Winner: Zayda Steel
Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe vs. Aaron Rourke vs. Freedom Ramsey
Aaron Rourke and Freedom Ramsey are members of the WWE ID program, making their Evolve debut. Aaron is seen mainly in the Northeast area of the US, and Freedom is mainly from the Midwest. Dupont and Igwe use their superior strength, but Williams and Ramsey counter with their speed and mind games. Nice double dropkick manages to keep the newcomers in control. Aaron lands a cartwheel into a chest slap in the corner to Igwe, who answers with a forearm shiver. Dupont is managing to keep Rourke on the mat using his raw power, until Aaron gets an enzugiri, leading to a hot tag to Freedom Ramsey.
Ramsey is insane as he is able to hold off both men with strikes, knees, and hits Dupont with the Freedom Buster. He goes for an ax handle to Igwe, who simply punches him in the face. Dupont and Igwe hit the Heart Stopper for the win.
Winners: Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe

Next week, Evolve Prime Minister Stevie Turner will have a town hall meeting to make a major announcement. IMO, I think this will be an official announcement about the Evolve titles, but we shall wait and see. But now we go to…

Wendy Choo vs. Kylie Rae
You know Kylie means business as she has no smile on her face at all. Nice wrinkle to this as she makes it more than just a match, Kylie is looking for a fight. I always am a fan of when the typically heel color commentator makes a good point with what is happening in the ring. Robert Stone explains how the mind games of Wendy Choo have caused Kylie Rae to not be her usual self and be more aggressive. And it doing so, she is off her game, making it easier for Wendy.
However, a solid shot to the face to Wendy shows that Kylie is still in the fight. However, the sight of her son’s teddy bear causes her to be distracted and slammed into the turnbuckle by Wendy as they go to commercial. Back from commercial, both women are trading bombs with Kylie getting the better of Wendy finally. Kylie finally locks in the Crossface. Wendy was able to finally roll out of it, but eats a superkick. Wendy answers with a superplex and a sick brainbuster. Wendy crawls over to the teddy bear and rips the head off. Kylie hits a rolling elbow but is distracted by the bear. This causes Wendy to lock in the Dirt Nap for the ko win.
Winner: Wendy Choo
After the match, Wendy uses a marker to draw a frown on the unconscious Kylie Rae. Back from commercial, we have Chuey backstage with Kali Armstrong. Kali talks about being a possible front runner for the Evolve Women’s title. This is a great segment showing the full character of Kali and how she grew up. Once again, this was great from Chuey. This is what I would like to see from him weekly.

Keanu Carver and Harlem Lewis vs. Swipe Right
As the teams come out for the main event, we see Haze Jameson in the VIP area. And according to the pop-up fact, she has been fighting for our right to party since 2012. I think I speak for everyone here at the Main Event Wrestling Network when I say thank you for your service.
When the match starts, Carver and Lewis have the power, but the teamwork is not there. Props to Brad Baylor for bringing the fight for now against men twice his size. Even as Keanu and Harlem argue, they still run trough Swipe Right, using the men as toys to show off how strong they are. I love stuff like this. Smokes manages to run Lewis’s shoulder into the ringpost, but still only gets a one count. Swipe right goes for a double suplex on Lewis, but he manages to suplex them both at the same time with no effort.
Carver tags and tosses his opponents like they were Wrestling Buddies. Smokes tries to grab Carver from the apron, so Carver just pulls him over the top rope and just cold cocks him. Even more insane, he pounces both men at the same time. Lewis tags in and hits a Boom Slane as Carver powerslams for the win.
Winners: Harlem Lewis and Keanu Carver
The winners of the match argue, causing every referee to come out to separate them. Backstage, Stevie Turner is pleased with the outcome of the match. However, she is joined by none other than...
GALLUS!

And they don’t want Swipe Right, they want Carver and Lewis. Just the thought of all that meat slapping each other?

So, not only do we get a town hall next week, but soon we may get Harlem Lewis and Keanu Carver against Gallus?! There is a Santa Claus!
What another great showing from Evolve. Honestly, if you have not watched it yet, take it upon yourselves to do so. Even with my weekly reviews, I cannot do this show justice.
Anywho, follow me on most socials as PaperclipMike. And in the mean time between time, I will see you all next week!
