One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
February 20-23, 2026

Welcome back everyone! Apologies for the missed entry last week. I had some electrical issues that took out power to my bedroom and other parts of the house. I had to move a bunch of furniture and disconnect my PC to get everything fixed. We’re back now! I know everyone is excited about the Warrior Wrestling’s Rumble at Rhinegeist, but we still have this week’s post to get through!
I’m gonna skip the news this post—I could probably write a whole post about the WWE 2K26 game news, and I just might.
One Match
Rhea Ripley vs Giulia has to be the match for me, even if it ended with a no contest DQ. These two really went at it and it was fantastic. Rhea has shown that she can put on great matches with almost everyone, and she is tough enough to let Giulia show off that strong style.
Giulia has been booked so much better since getting the Women’s US Championship back. I can only hope these performances get her a Wrestlemania match.
One Moment
How could I give this moment to anyone else? Liv Morgan brought the daisy dukes back…I mean…picked her WrestleMania opponent.
Liv and Dom continue to be the highlight of the show, and I hope their duo does not split. Anyways, seeing Liv just lay Stephanie out was fantastic. Liv absolutely deserves the spot she is in. Being the greatest Rumble winner of all time
One Promo
I almost hate to give this spot to them, but Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were the best on the mic this week. Well, Paul Heyman, I guess.
Brock Lesnar has been rumored to have so many different opponents, from Gunther to LA Knight to Oba Femi. Positioning WrestleMania as an open challenge makes for a fun build. As much as I’ve lost a lot of excitement about Lesnar, I really hope it is not a Gunther retirement match.
Honorable Mentions
Kiana James showed out in the triple threat match with Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax. I wasn’t super familiar with her in-ring skills before the last few weeks, but I’ve been nothing but impressed with her. I’m not mad at her winning, especially since Raquel will be the big powerhouse in the Chamber, and we don’t need Charlotte vs. Alexa—ever.
Obviously AJ Styles was the star of Monday Night Raw. Everything was centered on him; he definitely deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. At the same time, everything built to him, to the detriment of the rest of the show. The AJ Styles tribute show ended up being one of the worst Raws of the year.
I wish there had been a bigger deal made of Camelo Hayes and Trick Williams being in the ring together. The triple threat match was good, overall, but putting those two together in a triple threat felt like a missed opportunity. It’s also just a wild swap where Trick is the one in the main event scene these days, while Carmelo is the one finally finding his footing.
The Lost Week 2/13 - 2/16
Obviously Cody Rhodes was in a fantastic match. The triple threat with Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu was the match of the week for me last week. We got another Drew interference, but this time Cody was the one who ended up benefiting from it. He’s definitely winning the Chamber.
Tiffany Stratton was a fantastic opening to SmackDown, but I wish she hadn’t been interrupted by a tag team match. She deserved to fully have her moment, not be used as a transition into something else.
Bayley vs. Natalya vs. Asuka was up there as one of the two top matches. Nattie’s new persona finally making it to the main roster has been the best thing for her. Taking a loss here doesn’t really hurt her, though I was a bit surprised it was Asuka that won.
That’s it for the week. Since the week that I wrote Raw was the better show, I feel like there was an immediate flip and SmackDown has been the better product.
I’m looking forward to this week. We’ve got the last SmackDown before the PLE, Elimination Chamber and a Main Event sponsored Warrior Wrestling show that is going to be full of absolute bangers.
