PreGame w/bWo:
Warrior Wrestling / Rumble at Rhinegeist 2
Kody Lane vs. The Perminator Sam Beale

(PCM) Back in my article about all the content about Peacock going away, there was a point I made that works here. I said if I was looking up some Ricky Steamboat matches (my GOAT), and I saw him against someone I was unfamiliar with that I liked, I would likely seek out their work. I have mentioned how long I have been watching Sam, around 10 years. Kody Lane, I know by name, and a lot of people speak highly of him, so I will have to look him up (recommendations, please). Am I biased because I own an event-used and autographed Sam Beale beer can, possibly, but I got to give it to the Perminator.
PaperClip Mike’s Pick:
Sam Beale via Pinfall
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Sam Beale via Pinfall
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Kody Lane via Pinfall
Mad Dog Connelly vs. Joey Janela

(DSS) Time to break that fourth wall, and let you know I’m writing my part after the other two have filled out their picks, and it looks like I’m going up against the rest of the bWo. This match has the chance to be the best of the night. In a venue like Rhinegeist, these two are going to be feeding off the crowd and letting it amp up the physicality. These two are going to go at it and it’s going to end with Janela standing tall at the end.
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Joey Janela via Pinfall
PaperClip Mike’s Pick:
Mad Dog Connelly via Pinfall
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Mad Dog Connelly via Pinfall
12 Person Rumble

(TGBH) Looks like this match wasn’t on last year’s card, or at least according to my research. If there’s anything I love more than a multi person match, it’s a multi person rumble match. So far we’ve seen one entrant be announced, Beastman. The element of surprise is strong with this one Master Yoda, or whatever the line from that one Star Wars film was. I like being kept on my toes when it comes to my wrestling. Anyone could arrive to genuinely be honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kyle Gagz showed up in the match. Hey, it can happen!
(PCM) I love rumble matches. Always an element of surprise. Big names, returning names, legends…it could be anyone. Now, to be fair, I am not super familiar with the Warrior roster, so it could be anyone. Plus with the names that always are showing up, you never know who it could be, right Kyle? The master of the Gagz Reflex could win it all. But just on sheer size and power, kinda hard to count out Beastman.
(DSS) We’re getting a 12 Person Rumble and that’s exciting. It could be full of the Warrior roster, another Indie star could show up, or maybe another AEW talent could show up just to up the intensity. At this point, it doesn’t matter who actually does get involved, but it is going to be a hell of a rumble where anything could happen.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick: Ben Bishop
PaperClip Mike’s Pick: Beastman
Darkstar Shady’s Pick: Trevor Outlaw
Gringo Loco vs. Komander

(TGBH) Originally we had Gringo Loco going up against Bandido but this match is gonna slap just as hard. Komander has been actively competing for well over 13 years, and he’s not even 30. Gringo Loco has his work cut out for him in this one and will have to kick thangs up another notch to keep up. You can expect some heavy off the ropes action as the battle makes it way to the sidelines to the approval of those at ringside. Gringo Loco enters Rumble at Rhinegeist 2 with a victory at Ice Cold and will look to keep the momentum rolling. Nothing against Komander, but this just isn’t his night.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Gringo Loco via Pinfall
PaperClip Mike’s Pick:
Kommander via Pinfall
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Komdander via Pinfall
Warrior Women’s Championship
Tootie Lynn(c) vs. Jazzy Yang

(PCM) Now this is what I like to see. Sadly, with Shimmer no longer with us, we are still getting bad ass women’s wrestling everywhere. Tootie, coming from the St. Louis area, has been killing ing all over, using her martial arts skills to dispatch anyone who gets in her way. Meanwhile, Jazzy was not only trained by her father, Jimmy Yang, but she was also the first woman in NOAH. So, what a contrast here. In the end, Tootie has not shown any signs of slowing, so I have to give it to her in a hard-fought match
(TGBH) I’m excited for this one. The Warrior Women’s Championship is up for grabs for whoever wants it more. Tootie Lynn has been a hell of a champion and continues to impress with every outing. Lynn brings the heat against Jazzy Yang, a competitor whose stock continues to rise with recent appearances in NWA and GCW. Jazzy Yang brings seasoned experience to the table and will be a worthy opponent. Tootie Lynn edges Yang with about a year more of experience, something that truly makes a difference in this sport. This match carries some solid history and features two women that continue to evolve in the world of professional wrestling. But does Jazzy Yang have what it takes to dethrone Tootie Lynn? Not on this night. The Little Blue Dragon continues to reign supreme.
(DSS) Tootie Lynn has been too dominant to drop her title now. Jazzy Yang is going to bring a great fight for the championship match, but there’s no way Tootie is going to be an easy opponent. Tootie Lynn has been on a great run as of late, and that won’t be ending at Rhinegeist. According to my research, it does look like Tootie Lynn is coming off a loss in a fatal four way, which will just give her more reason to push harder to keep the Warrior Women’s Championship. Two things are certain: the crowd is getting a great match and Tootie is keeping her title.
PaperClip Mike’s Pick:
Tootie Lynn via Pinfall
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Tootie Lynn via Pinfall
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Tootie Lynn via Pinfall
