One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
December 19, 2025

Merry Christmas, y’all!
Another weekend is in the books, and that means it’s time for another column by yours truly. You six readers really give my life the boost I need to keep creating. Thank you for stopping by and let’s dive right in.
Word on the street is that commentary teams have swapped places again. Michael Cole and Corey Graves moved back to Raw and I couldn’t be happier. Raw has been the superior show for a while now, and Corey Graves is my favorite member of the commentary team across the board.
People are expecting some call ups from NXT, and the draft may be going away. It’s assumed that Oba Femi, Trick Williams and Sol Ruca will make the main roster sooner, rather than later. I’m in awe that Blake Monroe is going to sit in NXT when she is a worldwide, main event caliber talent already. If anything, she should have skipped NXT altogether after her Hollywood Ending with Toni Storm
I don’t want to focus too much on rumors and news this week. Let’s get into the action that brings you all around.
One Match
It was brutal and one-sided. It was dominant. It was exactly what she needed it to be.
Giulia is an absolute monster in the ring and her booking has been failing her. More on that to come, but she needed a dominant win. Even if it is over Alba Fyre. Giulia has all the talent in the world, and she put on a performance that has everyone who doubts her realizing she will be champion again, sooner rather than later.
One Moment
Raquel “accidentally” cost Roxanne the match against Bayley with her ill-timed distraction. Liv Morgan pulled Raquel off the apron with enough force to knock her on her ass. I said it on the AAA Main Event Mixer, but these two are going to end up in a feud culminating in a championship match at Mania. Raquel is going to look amazing with the Women’s World Championship around her waist as The Judgment Day implodes. I can only hope LivDom sticks together as it all falls apart by Mania.
One Promo
Maxxine Dupri is improving in all the ways I wish Jade Cargill would.
Most of the internet seems to say that Maxxine killed the promo, but Bleacher Report (where I refresh my brain with show recaps) merely gave the promo a C. It takes a lot of confidence to give such a bad opinion when Maxxine stood in front of Becky Lynch and killed it with a promo against her.
If she doesn’t win every publication’s “Most Improved” award, it will be a travesty. If she loses her title back to Becky…
Honorable Mentions
Any time Rhea is on screen, there’s a shot she could be in any category. Her existence is a gift to this world
The Usos promo video was actually fire. I really hope New Day interferes in their title match next week, and their feud continues. Let AJ Lee drop the titles later, and The New Day and The Usos can keep running it back with gold on the line.
Cody fucking Rhodes. That man gives me chills every time he opens his mouth. And when he gets fired up and angry? Damn. I want to give him a tied spot with Maxxine now that I’ve started writing. He IS the law.
Rayo got some backstory. He may or may not be 80+ years old.
AAA Guerra de Titanes

First of all, what a fantastic show. Until the very end.
Local deadbeat dad Rey Mysterio just had to go over on Dirty Dom. And the icing on the cake? He may have even injured the greatest luchadore of all time. And then they introduced tension between Dom and El Grande Americano at the end?
Americano shook Rey’s hand in some sort of show of respect. As if Rey Mysterio could even compare to the multi-generational talent of Americano.
Before the baffling ending, it was a fantastic show.
Ethan Page had a great match with El Hijo de Doctor Wagner Jr. and should be our Latin American Champion. If it wasn’t for that ref accusing him of wrongdoing, we’d have our first triple champion since The Miz.
The Carnival of Carnage was incredible. I didn’t expect an actual carnival, but I should have. I just wish anyone but Lumis had taken the pin.
I truly didn’t expect Faby Apache, Natalya and Lola Vice to win, but I won’t complain. Anything that gives Natalya a W is fine in my book.
Until next week, loyal followers! I’m always available on X if y’all want to throw some opinions at me.
