(TGBH) Ay yoooooo whats crackin yall!! We stay keeping the ball rolling round chea, cause that’s what we do. It’s been an extremely busy week for thee blog World order and we gonna keep it coming as long as there’s wrestling on tv, believe that. We’ve got two premium live events and an AEW PPV, all on Sunday. Am I gonna catch all three? I think so. And with that said, we’re gonna run down the AAA Ola de Calor card. This is the first of it’s kind and the latest WWE produced AAA event. The fed has kept the PLEs that made AAA famous, Ola de Calor will be an added extension to the AAA calendar to fill out the months in between. I got my sunblock, stunna shades, and four loko on top baby, lets facken go.
(DSS) What up y'all?! Does anyone genuinely put out a better product than AAA? Let me answer you in Spanish…no. It's incredible show after incredible show with the best booking and the best wrestling. AAA uses talent in ways that people dream of the main roster doing.
(B-OE3W) Let me just say how impressed I am with your mastery of Español, Shady. I will concur to your point that AAA has a lock on showcasing its talent, as well as other talent under the WWE umbrella, in a way that stands out from other brands and companies and lends a bit of refreshment to the landscape. Though this event leads into NXT Heatwave, it feels no less exciting and will likely have us all primed up for what is bound to be a HOT, HOT Sunday for pro wrestling! ¡A huevo, vamos!

Reina de Reinas Number One Contender Gaunlet Match
(TGBH) Ah yes, we talked about this one on the Main Event Mixer for this event, replay available on the Main Event Wrestling Network youtube channel, sub today. It could literally be anyone. We bounced a few names around and all of em made sense. There’s one name we didnt. I was scrolling thru the twitter and noticed Roxanne Perez responding to the official graphic slash tweet announcement for this match. And you know what, that wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Ola de Calor is in texas, why not?
(B-OE3W) I stand by La Catalina being the favorite here. She’s been groomed to be the eventual face of la reinas since her signing, but there is some potential for La Hiedra to take the W in here and generate some friction among Las Toxicas. Rumor has it that Bayley is staying put, and she could certainly benefit from a fresh direction in her career. Now I see you talking about Roxanne, GBH…and now I have absolutely no idea what to expect! For the sake of this exercise, I’mma stand at least 5 toes on my initial projection, as the other 5 are fanned out and spread elsewhere.
(DSS) This could literally be ANYONE. Karmen Petrovic could come out and dominate. Natalya or Lola Vice could come out looking for another shot at getting Flammer's title; La Hiedra can give us some spice and go after her stablemate. Hell, Blake Monroe could prove that AAA actually knows how to push talent and move on to a World Championship shot at the Reina de Reinas belt. Some of those competitors may come true, but the most likely winner is La Catalina.

War Raiders(c) vs. Los Americanos
(B-OE3W) I get to be the odd duck here (story of my life), but I think Los Americanos’ time as AAA Tag Champs is now. They are incredibly over as a duo apart from EGA. They are incredibly talented - having an oddly European flair to their in-ring performance at times. I also think, if they were to receive another opportunity at TripleMania and win, it would upend a lot of my disbelief suspension pertaining to the AAA Mega Campeonato match. Plus, if alleged statements by Big Haitch are anything to go by, the Tag divisions on the main roster are due for revamp (minus DIY, MCMG, New Day, basically Fraxiom, Wyatt Sicks, etc), and rejuvenated and dominant War Raiders could be a helluva match-up for MFT and Bakusai. It’s Americano time.

AAA Latin American Championship
Damian Priest vs. El Fiscal vs. La Parka vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
(TGBH) Damian Priest got handed a free title shot for being friends with Rey Mysterio. Priest was booked in the qualifier and then didnt show up, match got thrown out, Priest re-invited into the tournament. They could have just left this match a triple threat, but the fed decided to inject a former World Heavyweight Champion into the equation. If Priest doesn’t win, he helps the winner look like a million bucks. If Priest wins, he makes all his future challengers look like a million bucks.
(DSS) I said it from the start, I really like Damian Priest's odds for the title. He just said he moved to SmackDown to chase singles gold, but AAA is going to be where he actually captures it. He's got star power and he is presented as a dominant force coming to take AAA by storm. The only downside is that it would be another title held by a main roster superstar, and not a AAA talent. But if they want eyes on the product going in to Triplemania, DP is the way to do it.

Los Perros del Mal vs. Penta, Fenix, and Dragon Lee
(TGBH) Yall, you do not know how good yall are getting it. We are getting SIX seasoned, certified, veteran luchadores in gang warfare. The Hounds of Evil against The Defenders of Rey Mysterio’s Honor, a battle that will surely end in bloodshed. And with Bronco Nima being eliminated for his inability to win a match, these Dogs aint leaving with a loss to their name. I expect Karmen to be a difference maker here, her presence alone is that of danger you will never see coming. I still think Penta could join the dogs, then again, Dragon Lee has been the one getting the short end of the Rey Mysterio stick. What I mean is that Rey Mysterio never helps Dragon Lee. The couple times Rey Mysterio was in danger, Dragon Lee was there to answer the call. When someone spoke ill of his hero Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee was there. And when Dragon Lee needed help where was Rey? Dragon Lee joining Los Perros would give em a reason to show up on RAW and Smackdown to raise some hell, and it would all be Rey Mysterio’s fault. And let’s be real, if he stays with the Rey Mysterio Fan Club, he’ll be the one who eats the pin here. Enough is enough!
(B-OE3W) One way or another, Dragon Lee’s eating the pin.
That’s it. That’s my prediction.
Kidding. This match has a lot of intrigue to it, as Penta effectively has a Sword of Damocles hanging overhead that could sway outcomes of numerous opportunities he has yet to actualize. Los Perros no perdonan, and if momentum and ambition is slowed due to a win from Team Penta here, PdM will no doubt be chomping at Penta’s heels with every step forward that he makes until attrition sees him join or fall. One way or another, with Bronco out and Penta on the fence, I have to believe someone is joining Los Perros by the end of this. Does Penta show a bit of miedo and commit a Cain-and-Abel style betrayal toward his brother for when he - no doubt - challenges Roman Reigns in CDMX with a counter to the Bloodline at his back? Who’s to say?
…but Dragon Lee’s getting pinned.
(DSS) Penta is at a crossroads between his old family and his actual family. This match feels unfair because Los Perros del Mal should be an incredibly dominant faction that is truly reinvigorating the members from their previous characters…but they're basically going up against a super team of luchadores. A super team of luchadores that are Rey Mysterio approved. It's going to be a fantastic match but it'd hard to see anyone beating The Lucha Brothers + Dragon Lee
