PreGame with BWO: AEW Wrestledream 2026
(DSS) Are you sick of the bWo yet? No? And we’re your favorite blogging group? That’s so sweet. Now I know how happy you are for us to be talking about WrestleDream. AEW has been on fire lately and this should continue that momentum.
(B-OE3W) Life could be a dream, but could it be a WrestleDream? Probably would be doing without all the sh-boop and shoo-bop, but hey, at least we’d be honoring Inoki with interpromotional purograps, and that’s enough for me. Fresh off Grand Slam: France, is AEW poised to knock another one out of the park?
(TGBH) One question, we got All Out and All In, why do we no have a WrestleNightmare?....i'll see myself out. But before I go, you guys should check the rest blog out! Let's run through the card shalleth we? Let's get to it yall!!
PreGame w/bWo:
AEW WrestleDream 2026
AEW National Championship
Andrade El Idolo(c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa
(TGBH) Seeing alot of talk about Dragunov showing up on this night. Will it be after this match? I mean Andrade vs Dragunov and Ciampa vs Dragunov both have great appeal to it. Last time I said Andrade would lose, but he retained so im prob 80/20 when predicting his matches. Whils Ciampa vs Dragunov makes the most sense, I dont think you wanna feed Ciampa to Dragunov right off the bat. But that's just with running on Dragunov wanting to be anywhere near this title. Either way, I got Andrade to retain here one more time before inevitably handing it over to Dragunov.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Andrade Cien Almas El Idolo via Pinfall
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Ciampa via pinfall
BRANdon’s Pick:
Ciampa via Pinfall
AEW World Tag Team Championship
The Young Bucks(c) vs. The Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher)
(TGBH) Told yall Young Bucks wouldn't be able to resist being able to one up a legendary tag team, it is after all their promotion in a sense. The Don Callis Family may have the numbers, but the Bucks are gonna run with whatever works for them, brother, and I dont think we're getting a title change here. We will however get a fun tag match that may lead to something else if things dont end clean here.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
The Young Bucks via Pinfall
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
The Young Bucks via pinfall
BRANdon’s Pick:
DCF via Pinfall
AEW Continental Championship
Jon Moxley(c) vs. Mark Davis
(DSS) Jon Moxley has been absolutely killing it with his Continental Title run. He steps away from his deathmatch-adjacent bloodsport matches to give good, clean wrestling nearly every week with different talents. He’s had the title since December if I’m not mistaken. I was a little surprised when he won the title; while I’ve been happy with the quality of his reign it’s already lasted longer than I thought it would by a fair amount. I’m ready for a change, and Mark Davis has been putting in the work to get the rub from taking the title off Mox.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Jon Moxley via Knockout
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Mark Davis via pinfall
BRANdon’s Pick:
Dunkzilla via many dunks
AEW Trios World Championship Match
2 Out of 3 Falls
Swerve and The New Level vs. Hangman and Brodido
(B-OE3W) I can’t envision a reason for The Swerve Level to lose the Trios titles here, but then, I can’t imagine there’s much in the way of reason when it comes to booking the Trios titles to begin with. That said, I’m digging the dynamics among Swerve, Kofi, and Creed, and they deserve to keep on showcasing with the Trios titles until someone deserves to take those titles off of then (hint: it’s not Brodido, even though they rule)
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Swerve and The New Level, they win 2-0
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Hangman and Brodido via pinfall
BRANdon’s Pick:
Swerve and The New Level via pinfall
AEW Women’s World Championship
Mercedes Moné ( C ) vs. Thekla
(DSS) Thekla is one of the scariest women on the AEW roster, but man this is not the direction I needed the Women’s title scene going in. I don’t see Thekla taking the title off of Mercedes now. I don’t think Willow should have had the title in-between Thekla and Mercedes. Mercedes had too long of a journey to drop the title back to the woman who couldn’t even make it to All In as champion. Thekla is just her fierce opponent that will give a good match and make her second defense look good.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick:
Thekla via Pinfall
Darkstar Shady’s Pick:
Mercedes Moné via pinfall
BRANdon’s Pick:
Mercedes via bullshit
Clockwork Carnage for AEW World Championship
(B-OE3W) As of this writing, there are waaaaaayyyy too many mf’ers to still qualify for this match. I’m not gonna go down all of them names. Bruv in 30ish.
EDIT: Okay, looks like we’ve got a full field of names now. Nevertheless, this is Will Ospreay’s brainchild and, in spite of Cope’s recent declaration of wanting to become World champion, no way he - or anyone else - takes the belt off Will at this juncture. Bruv in 30ish.
(TGBH) This match is, interesting I suppose. It's essentially a rumble scramble gauntlet with extra rules and it's a solid way to get whoever has hovered the World Title division, and Cope, involved. We coulda just done a regular multi man elimination but deciding to confuse some of the audience with so many rules seems to be the move a majority of decision makers decided upon. Will it be fun? Sure. Bring on the carnage!
(DSS) This match is going to be a clusterfuck of a match and I’m not sure they really need to do this… but there is absolutely no fucking way that this is how Ospreay loses his title. Absolutely no way. He’s got this title through at least the next All In. This is going to be a hell of a defense, but there’s no way anyone else walks out champion.
The Great Brown Hope’s Pick: Samoa Joe
Darkstar Shady’s Pick: Billy via shenanifuckery
BRANdon’s Pick: Bruv via bruv
