so when the devil wants to dance with you, you better say never. cause a dance with the devil might last you forever.

What's the happs on the crapps yall, we back at it like we never left, and that's cause we never did. The month of March has come to a close which means WrestleMania is less than a month away. Are you ready? You ain't gotta get ready if you stay ready pimp juice, you know what it is. And you know what you came here for.
Welcome to!

For those that think this is about The Streak, it's not. Sorry to disappoint but I promise it'll be worth your time. Look, I know my "a Man on Fire" series has consisted of Superstars that should have beaten the streak and such, but not this time. And it's only been two chapters of said Storee series so there's still plenty of time to grow. Besides, this Superstar's fate is also cosmically tied to WrestleMania. More on that later.
This time we're dissecting the mental reprogramming of one of, if not the, greatest WWE Superstar of Then, Now, and Forever. Quite possibly the most accomplished, most dedicated, most decorated Superstar of our time and the times before. If not the most hated, truly the most appreciated as we will never see another talent of this caliber or status.
He's the freestylin', rockwildin', attitude adjusting, five knuckle shuffling, word lifing, five moves of doom dishin' son of a sawed off shotgun! If you don't like him, learn to LOVE him!
And his name is
John Cena

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.
John Cena. I have had the pleasure of witnessing Cena's debut, his rise to greatness, his run at the top where he was literally unbeatable, his run between shifting over to Hollywood, and his current run now. I have seen it all. I have watched all his undercard, midcard, and main event matches. I watched John Cena capture his first U.S. Championship the same night Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit exited WrestleMania as WWE Heavyweight Champion and World Heavyweight Champion. I have witnessed him take on the best of the best and everyone who has or had next. Fun fact yo, I was at FYE picking up a Bizzy Bone CD when I saw John Cena's rap album was marked "Sold Out". I also thought of all the possibilities, like Cena turning heel after losing to The Rock or Cena fully embracing his place in The Nexus and using The Nexus as his goons to run as a dominant, untouchable, monster heel at the top. The Nexus shirts were already selling, imagine the sales with Cena's endorsement.

But that's another storee for another day.
Let's run down the list of accomplishments right chea
16x World Champion (WWE, WHC)
4x World Tag Team Champion (various titles w/various partners)
5x United States Champion
2x Royal Rumble Winner
Money in the Bank Winner
Of course, like the other Superstars in this series, John Cena also had the honor of competing with The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Sure it was after The Streak was broken, but Cena now gets to be a part of The Undertaker's WrestleMania Legacy forever.

But as of late, we have been treated to a new John Cena. A John Cena that isn't heel nor face, but a "human being". But I advise you to not take that term literally, as it is a term that is being used a specific way by a very specific character. For it is true, Cena is neither heel nor face, but a man who has become possessed.
The last, true time, we ACTUALLY saw John Cena was April 5, 2020.

You might be asking, "Great Brown Hope sir, what the hell are you talking about?"
As mentioned before, everything about this character is no coincidence. For the last time we saw John Cena, was when he stepped through a specific door at The Firefly Funhouse.

Upon opening that door, John Cena abandoned all hope, as he was stepping into a different world where he would not, to this day, see an exit. A world where he is still trapped today. For upon confronting The Fiend, John Cena was possessed by the same evil that had successfully changed the fates of Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. But unlike them, Cena met with a more terrible fate. The moment The Fiend applied his soul altering claw, John Cena was trapped forever.

Y'all remember the movie Monkeybone right?

Have you checked out the Insidious series?

Well, that's exactly what's happening here. John Cena's physical form has become a vessel controlled by The Fiend. John Cena didn't turn heel overnight. The signs have been there for quite some time. The Fiend is the John Cena that Cena could never be as he has always stated he would never abandon his fans or turn his back on the WWE Universe. That's a very specific line Cena happened to use during his March 31st promo. The Fiend can say, and has said, things that John Cena wouldn't ever say.
Now let's look at the merch.

Do you see what I see?
I see the last door Cena walked through, and the last door he will ever see as he stares at it from the other side with no chance of ever coming back. The RISE ABOVE HATE that has been added to his gear is no coincidence either, that's The Fiend making a mockery of Cena's demise despite always rising above it all.
Watching his promos on RAW have shown a side of Cena that I and we have never seen before. From his pale, blank, almost lifeless gaze, to the way he moves and the way he reacts. Almost like someone else is pulling the strings. Just the other night on the March 31st episode of Monday Night RAW is War on Netflix, Cena cut a very different promo than the norm with not only his words, but his way of expressing them as well.
This is the John Cena that will defeat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, burying a year long title reign in the process. And we will come full circle as John Cena achieves his greatest feat to date. And after he's finished with Rhodes, Cena will certainly move on to taking care of unfinished business with both Randy Orton and CM Punk.

Cena and Punk's historee would have had a few more matches to it if Punk had stayed in the Fed, but the matches they did have will always be spoken of. This new John Cena will truly be tested on the microphone and in the ring by CM Punk above all else. Cena will certainly resort to playing dirty to win his matches, and to get the upperhand in a promo off. I mean, cmon, I'm sure Cena will most certainly bring up his history with AJ Lee and how she was kissing him and wearing his shirt first way back in the day.

And with Randy Orton, well, Cena is 13-7 against Randall Keith and will use that to make a case for NOT giving Orton a title match.
For if this is the real Cena as he says he is, then the Cena we all thought we knew was never real to begin with in the first place. Do you really expect me to believe he left behind everything he worked his entire career to attain, just to throw it away for a title match? For a title match he could have just easily demanded the way he did after Rey Mysterio had just won a title on RAW? I call ishbull yo cause John Cena would never give up, even if the last time is now. For when one resorts to extremes and absolutes, one has certainly lost their way. And if John Cena has lost his way, he's lost an entire generation of people who believed in him. And the only way that wouldn't be a huge blow to his heart would be that he's surely got no heart, no being, no soul, and no purpose.

John Cena chose to dance with the devil, and it cost him dearly. And now a soul-less John Cena will capture his 17th World Championship at what will be his final WrestleMania appearance. And if greed is what got him there, will that ever be enough? A prophecy fulfilled by the master puppeteer himself, now live in the flesh for the world to see.
The John Cena we knew and loved, cursed for the rest of days as he is trapped forever, all alone with just the three words he lived by, hustle, loyalty, and respect.
