What's hood yall! The Great Brown Hope coming at ya from every side like a Linkin Park song. If you aren't keeping up with The Great Brown Hope or The Main Event Wrestling Network then I dont know what you doing playa. I do however hope you are doing well and doing your thang pimpin, dont let nothing slow ya down. You keep doing you. We Ouchea.

And we are back with another one for the small crowd gathered outside my window. The wheels are steady rolling and we're not too far from WrestleMania. There's a couple more pit stops along the way so make sure you grab some snacks and some Four Lokos. With WrestleMania around the corner, we're on our way to a new season of WWE television. And new season of WWE television brings us a shake up or two and I've got a feeling we're gonna see a big shake up down on NXT.

We have been, and we always will be! WE ARE NXT!

NXT continues to evolve into a third brand with a DEEP roster of talent itching to get some shine. Two hours of television on a weekly basis will never be enough to showcase every last talent on the brand, just like every other brand across the board. The only difference is NXT is now sharing their TV time with talent from Total Nonstop Action.

And while the timeshare has granted NXT stars a chance to show up on TNA Television, there's just not enough room for everyone. And that's not a bad thing either. Sooner or later, talent is gonna get the call to make the jump to another brand like RAW or SmackDown. And while some talent has been tasked to help down at Evolve, I don't think we'll see any less of said talent on NXT or other major brands. WWE will continue to farm and build talent, only further bolstering their already massive roster. It's getting more difficult to be a breakout star, but there's always chances to stand out from the rest and prove one's value. There's a spot for everyone, but not everyone gets a spot. What matters most is these stars have made the most of their opportunities and continue to push themselves and guide others in the process as they all learn to become a better version of themselves. For some of these stars, it's time to move on to bigger and better thangs, and of course, the bigger lights of the business.

LETS GET TO IT YALL!!

BROWN'S FIVE AT 5

VOLUME 3 / ISSUE 3

FIVE NXT CALL UPS IN 2025

5.CHARLIE DEMPSEY

A former NXT Heritage Cup champion, Dempsey has spent the last few years honing his craft and developing in the NXT system after his NXT UK run. And being paired with a band of goons in the form of the No Quarter Catch Crew, Dempsey's stock has continued to rise at a steady pace. And while I felt the NQCC would have been better suited under Gable's wing as opposed to The Creed Brothers, NQCC would continue to make their names known on the third brand. There's alot of gimmicks on the main roster, but what's needed direly is a mat worker like Dempsey to change the pace of things for bigger opponents. And after being exposed to a bigger audience in the form of a Speed match with Chad Gable, Dempsey proved he's got more than what it takes to hang with the big dawgs. Whilst still a young student in the game, Dempsey is already a seasoned veteran with an arsenal that can only be paralleled by the likes of Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne, and Ilja Dragunov, just to name a few. NXT UK has brought to the Fed some of the narliest scrappers that have helped change the landscape in the land of the giants. Dempsey on the main roster post Wrestlemania with a future in the Intercontinental Heavyweight or United States Heavyweight divisions will help add more interest to the lower card, especially now in times where the IC and US belts are defended in the main event. His no quarter catching crew can tag along but will likely remain out of action unless they're wrestling in NXT or Evolve, which isn't a bad thing if Dempsey gets through the door, or transfer window, first. The Fed loves em their second generation stars, why not bet on Dempsey.

4.CHASE UNIVERSITY

If anyone has been NXT longer than Angelo Dawkins, it's Chase University. Or at least it feels like it. You tell me! Anyway, Chase U has gone through quite a few phases and never really seemed to go away. Over with the Full Sail crowds, Chase U proved to be a household name by getting some great reactions once NXT TakeOvers started hitting the road again. Chase U's storee has truly been a long one and deserves a proper ending. A run on the main roster to get Andre and Duke into the fray (not the band) could be executed in a succesful tag run on SmackDown that ends with Duke Hudson finally turning on Andre Chase. Why you ask? Cause Andre picked Ridge over Duke at one point. That should have been enough for Duke Hudson, who was as loyal as loyalty is when it's gained, and loyal to the end that has yet to come, to snap on his professor/mentor. Both more than talented enough to have decent solo runs on the lower card adds a little more depth and mixes up the USHW division. Do we crown em tag champs? Why not. Just adds more seasoning to what could be some spicy wrestling televsion. The feuds that matter most are from partnerships like these gone sour. Duke Hudson finally graduates from Chase U and burns it all down.

3.TONY D'ANGELO

If I did the math correctly, Tony has now been North American Heavyweight Champion, NXT Heritage Cup Champion, and NXT Tag Team Champion. Tony D has Tony Done about it all that can be Tony Done Tony Down at NXT. And with a solid crew at his tow, Tony's got the star power to be someone on the main roster. Like Dempsey, Hudson, and Chase, Tony would be added to the lower midcard as he's slowly introduced to the main roster audience. Obviously you'd use the vignettes, which might work if the casual audience is into the Sopranos. In the process of introducing Tony Toni Tone D to the masses, his goons can remain on NXT and Evolve keeping their brand's value growing as they work their way up to join Tony on the main roster. Bring back the Freebird Rule and allow three man teams to feud for the tag belts like the good ol' days. Some good ol' fashioned warfare between groups and gangs will always make for great television, especially during Survivor Series season. The Family will help add some more tag competition, hell put em on SmackDown and have em feud with Legado Del Fantasma for old times sake.

2.JACY JAYNE

Jacy Jayne is long overdue for the callup. Jacy has gone from stable to stable and only improved in each scenario. Steady improvements and heavy television exposure have kept her name in the rotation. A former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion, Double J is no stranger to the pressures of bigger matches. Yet to hold a singles title, perhaps a callup to the RAW roster to add another name in the ranks of the Women's Intercontinental Championship division would be the next move for Jacy Jayne. Having hanged with the best of em in the NXT Women's Division, Jacy Jayne would certainly have no issues fitting in with Lyra Valkyria, Bayley, and Dakota Kai, just to name three off the top. The Women's Division is getting crowded in NXT and Jacy Jayne is just about ready to be promoted to the big leagues. A Jacy Jayne debut the night after Wrestlemania will get some people excited and make somewhat of a wave across the interwebs. She's more than ready and will gain a strong fanbase and following in no time. Indeed a heel Jacy would be ideal, but a babyface Jacy Jayne on the RAW roster just might get her places in her early stages of the transition.

1.GALLUS

BAH GAWD I HAVE BEEN SAYING IT! The longest reigning NXT UK Tag Team Champions of all time, AND the holders of the current WWE record of second longest tag team title reign, Dem Gallus Boys should have already been on top of the RAW or SmackDown tag team divisions. As vicious as they are gritty, tougher than rusted nails in old cedarwood, Dem Gallus Boys have been in the NXT system since NXT UK. NXT UK breeds nothing but superstars, and Gallus certainly deserves to debut strong. With WWE RAW coming live from Glasgow this coming Monday, the time to pull the trigger is now. The boys are back and they're looking for trouble. They have done it all down at NXT and put over plenty of talent in the process. And with years of experience now under their collective belts, this stable of thugs is ready to dominate. No gimmicks, just a group of three ass kickers that wanna kick some teeth in. Let em loose on both tag team divisions to spread intimidation across the brands until they are found best suited for the Red or Blue brand. More than capable of holding their own on the microphone, these three will have no problem adapting to their new, yet familiar, surroundings. As mentioned earlier, bring back the Freebird Rule and teams like Gallus will surely prosper and make things a little more difficult when calling which two members will compete when booking them in competition. Any way you mix em, these three were made to scrap and excel in the tag division for years to come. And with RAW Live on Netflix from their hometown, this debut would surely shake things up. The time is now.
