One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
March 27-30, 2026
Hello and welcome back to the latest edition of OMOMOP! And I am here struggling to get this post out. Not because it’s a bad week, it’s because I’m struggling to breathe with my allergies tearing me apart so let’s do this quickly.
The only piece of news that matters outside of the storylines is about the video game. After making everyone mad with the Ringside Pass, 2K is backtracking and making it faster to unlock the DLC purchases. I just went and claimed all of my free unlocks they gave us.
Anyways, let’s do it.
One Match
I hate giving this spot to this match, but…
Carmelo Hayes and Sami Zayn put on the best match of the weekend. It just happened to also be the worst finish. Carmelo Hayes can make magic with just about anyone, and the Never World Champ Sami Zayn is no exception. I know Sami is taking the belt just to give Trick an even bigger stage at WrestleMania, but that’s no reason to take Melo’s moment. Carmelo Hayes has been the best part of SmackDown for a while now, so I hope he is rewarded with a spot in the Zayn-Williams match.
One Moment
Bayley is not just a top tier, future hall of famer. She’s also strong as fuck. She made it look effortless to powerbomb Nia Jax. There’s not a lot more to it than that. It was just a cool moment and proves once again that Bayley deserves far more love than she gets on the regular.
I’m so glad Bayley is going to be on the Mania card this year.
One Promo
Stephanie McMahon was on Raw! Don’t freak out, but Stephanie McMahon was on Raw. She had a whole entrance, she got in the ring and she was amazing.
Hearing Stephanie on WWE television, not just promoting the product, but actively participating in an ongoing story, was incredible. She may be the perfect person to confront Cody and tell him he’s going to need to step it up if he wants to beat Randy. I half expected her to say that she’s been the one he’s been on the phone with, but no, that mystery has not been solved by her appearance. I kind of wanted Cody to hit her with a Cross Rhodes at the end, but then I’d have been mad at Cody. I just love Stephanie.
Honorable Mentions
I really just have one this week.
Liv Morgan calling out Stephanie Vaquer could have been the promo. Stephanie Vaquer’s look could have been the moment. Roxanne Perez’s return could have been the moment. Liv and Stephanie are incredible together. And Liv and Roxanne are the perfect duo (that I know are going to end up breaking up sooner rather than later).
