One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
April 3-6, 2026

It’s been a rough last few days, and I wasn’t sure this blog was going to make it. But here I am, and I do seem to be typing. I’m skipping the news this week. No fluff. Some anger.
Let’s do it.
One Match
Let’s be honest, did any of the matches really stand out? Maybe it’s just my mood this week but I almost feel I could throw a dart at a board and pick any match from this past weekend because this category doesn’t even matter.
I guess Sami Zayn vs. Carmelo Hayes gets it again, even if Sami is a piece of shit for how he retained. There was finally a hint at Trick and Melo’s history before the match started, and then it was off to the races. If this match doesn’t lead to Carmelo Hayes being added to the U.S. title match at WrestleMania, then I’ll retroactively take this spot away.
One Moment
Of course Finn didn’t get to have his match with JD. Of course Dominik Mysterio stood (sat) tall over him. Daddy Dom is the greatest Mysterio of aaaaaaalllllllllll tiiiiiiiiiiime.
I am still so torn on who I want to come out on top in this feud. Dom needs it to break into the Main Event Scene. Finn deserves a big win, especially if they are bringing back The Demon. Either way, I loved the fact that Dom set a chair over Finn and sat down on it. What a power play.
One Promo
I don’t want to talk much about this yet, I just want y’all to see this section for yourself. And it’s a tie.
Everyone is reporting these as real frustrations. Unscripted segments that speak for the talent and the writers in creative against TKO forcing storylines and celebrities because WrestleMania Vegas Round II can’t sell tickets. It couldn’t be the overpriced tickets. It’s not the shit build and lack of deserving talent on the card. It’s the lack of bum ass Pat McAfee that is keeping Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes from selling tickets. It’s not the fact that Roman doesn’t show up for work often enough. It’s not the fact that their champions hardly wrestle week after week so we never get more than a recycled promo. Who cares if we’re getting worked and these guys are saying exactly what TKO wants. It’s nice to feel like we’re on the same side. Fuck TKO.
Dishonorable Mentions
Bum ass fanboy Pat McAfee is pretending to be edgy and trash talk the fans to try and build up Randy Orton. Yeah, that’s right. Pat McAfee had to turn heel to get involved in the title match and it makes no fucking sense.
Fuck ass Rey Mysterio won’t retire, and now he’s gonna be injured for another year after returning in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match.
For some reason, SmackDown superstars Rhea Ripley, B-Fab and Michin were wrestling on Raw. And SmackDown (WWE Women’s) Champion Jade Cargill was on Raw. It’s not like Liv and Stephanie couldn’t have been given more time to hype their match on their own fucking show…
Oh and Liv and Roxy took a hell of a bump. Literally. They have huge bumps on their heads that may or may not jeopardize the Women’s World Championship match at Mania.
Stand and Deliver
Yeah, fine, I was wrong again. Sol Ruca went over and it doesn’t really help her, and it really hurts Zaria. Sol Ruca should have put Zaria over so Zaria can feel like a threat in the NXT women’s division. Sol Ruca is main roster ready.
Still wrong. Blake Monroe lost her title match. What are we even doing, NXT? Unless she’s going to get a huge pivot and win the NXT title, this makes no sense. Let Blake be the face of the brand. Hell, let her be the face of the company. She’s got an amazing face.
Lola Vice won the Women’s Championship. I’m not mad at it, but Kendal Grey needs to be shot to the top sooner rather than later.
That’s it. I’m a little angrier than usual this week, but that’s why y’all keep coming back, right?
