(TGBH) Yo yo yo, it’s blog time dawg! We got a special New Year’s Evil edition of NXT less than 24 hours from RAW so you know I had to shine the bWo signal into the night again to round up the boys for another predictions piece. And what do ya know, as always, the reliable, unstoppable, and wise Paperclip “Killer” Mike and the smooth, witty, undeniable Darkstar “Slim” Shady answered the call.
(PCM) Second time this week you have seen me, yet not the last time. You thought we were playing? We said we were taking over and you thought we were joking? If you know the theme of this year, no more dabbling.
(DSS) Have you missed us? It’s been…a whole day since the last bWo drop. This may be a first for us. You’re getting a Tuesday NXT prediction and it’s a fantastic card. NXT has an incredible women’s division and it’s all going to be on display for New Year’s Evil.
(TGBH) We’re gonna be predicting anything and everything this year, so here’s to our second predictions blog in two days, just 6 days into the year. We ouchea muthafuckas, let’s get to it!
PREGAME W/BWO - New Year’s Evil 2026
Izzi Dame vs. Tatum Paxley
(PCM) I think NXT has its next big star in Tatum. Even if she only had the title for a week or so, you can tell the crowd wanted it. Let’s build her back up and a good way is to win this feud with Izzy. I think it has done a great job building up both ladies in this. But let’s pull the trigger on Tatum. Give her the win and set her up for success.

Women’s North American Championship Match
Thea Hail(c) vs. Blake Monroe
(DSS) Even before the rumors started swirling in the last day, Blake Monroe seemed destined for a call-up. She should never have been in NXT, but that’s a conversation for my next blog. Thea Hail is deserving of the Women’s NA title, regardless of how she acquired it. I’d love to see Blake with gold, but the WWE Championship will fit her so much better. NXT has a great women’s roster that Thea Hail will have great matches with as champion.

NXT Women’s Championship Match
Jacy Jayne(c) vs. Kendal Grey
(TGBH) Oh boy, this one’s a tough one to call. Cause on one side you got Jacy Jayne, a proven and worthy champion deserving of her spot on the roster. Then you got Kendal Grey who has been all over NXT and Evolve television, hinting at higher ups having big plans in store for Grey. Afterall it is Rumble season, so no matter the winner one of these women is getting called up through the Women’s Royal Rumble match, calling it now. Jacy Jayne fits well into the wrestling boots of a main event player that can run the division for years to come. Just like not all women needed the NXT Women’s Championship to be successful (like Alexa Bliss), and not all women need to be called up to RAW or Smackdown. With LFG and Evolve producing the next wave of talent, NXT fits more into the third brand it was always meant to be. Jacy Jayne retains here and Kendal Grey gets called up via the Royal Rumble.

NXT Heavyweight Championship Match
Oba Femi(c) vs. Leon Slater
(TGBH) Oba Femi is on a similar NXT Title run slash main roster run like that of Kevin Owens. Oba Femi is a main roster superstar now, regardless if tied to any specific brand. However, who has next with the NXT Heavyweight Championship? Usually NXT has a revolving door of stars ready to go once a few get the callup. But who does NXT have? Josh Briggs? Cmon, only JGold of IWGuide fame wants that. Leon Slater's run in NXT has been fun, but with TNA going to AMC, they're gonna need their own stars to fill the card as much as possible. Oba Femi retains here and continues to carry the NXT Heavyweight Championship as he runs through jobbers on RAW and Smackdown week in and week out.
(DSS) This match really highlights the opposite of my previous prediction paragraph. The men’s roster in NXT needs help. Leon Slater is a great talent, and it’s great that NXT has TNA to boost the roster pool. People want Oba Femi called up, but NXT needs him so much more than either main roster show does. Let him retain and keep putting in work as the NXT champ.
(PCM) I agree with Shady on this. The men’s division is shallow. The same handful of men are the ones getting all the title shots.Who is left? Je’Von? Called up. Oba? Likely call up. Leon? TNA. All you have is Ricky. You tried Miles and dropped that instantly. Ethan? He is holding up the NA division. There is no one. One division built your call-up replacements, the other didn’t. Plus, with the new deal for TNA(huge congrats by the way), only one logical choice.
