PreGame with BWO: Survivor Series War Games 2025

(TGBH) Ay yo I thought I told ya, told ya, that the war aint over, over! You can roll or you can get rolled over, or you can get on the blog World order Express! That’s right pimp juice, we back again. We got a PLE this Saturday, Survivor Series War Games to be exact. The fed cant help themselves with these themed events, but it is very fitting considering War Games has been a main roster stable for years now. And whilst I may be in the minority of those that believe War Games was a better fit on NXT, i’m still looking forward to some solid action and one of Cena’s final matches. I miss the traditional four on four matches and hold the Raw/Smackdown/NXT Survivor Series as one of the best of the series. This Saturday’s event has some storylines coming to a clash worthy of the setting.
(PCM) Question for you all. Why was the only traditional SS match on Smackdown? Just curious. Now while I feel the women’s War Games match is not that thrown together, the men’s surely is. Matches like this are used to either end or further a feud as we are close to the Road to WM. There is no rhyme or reason other than the main good guys vs the main bad guys. I still p[lan on watching but I would love a bit more meat on the bone.
(DSS) War Games is here, and I feel like this year’s actual war games matches got thrown together in a rush. Injuries don’t help, but the five on five alliances feel forced for the match. On the other hand, the brand split hasn’t been well defined this year, so Smackdown vs. Raw makes no sense either. This would have been the perfect year to have built up the NXT vs. TNA War Games, but what do I know? I’m just a blogger. Regardless, we’re going to be in for a great show so I’m excited to watch when I get off work.
(TGBH) Bring on the War Games! It’s a holiday weekend and some already got time off from work so we’ll get right to it yall!

Survivor Series War Games
Women’s War Games Match
Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee vs. Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Becky Lynch
(DSS) The heel side of this match is so thrown together and random that it doesn’t really make sense if you look at it for longer than a moment. But I am so ready for Iyo flying through the sky in a trash can that I don’t care. There’s no way AJ Lee is on a losing team with how few matches she has been in since her return. I could see a world where Charlotte turns on Rhea and co. and costs them the match, but this isn’t the time to lose with such a mess of an opponent that would make it meaningless.
(TGBH) The big ticket player in this match is obviously Rhea Ripley, but Lash Legend will walk out the star of the match. So much talent in this match that will have an almost perfect blend of wrestling, scrapping, high power moves, and high flying maneuvers. Get your moonsault counters out cause we’re flying over the moon on multiple occasions. Whilst I expect Iyo’s trash can spot, i’ll put money on Lash and Jax catching Sky mid-flight. No one feels like they’d need some hand holding, but we will see plenty of arm dragging. Two rings and ten beautiful, talented women. Let the bodies hit the floor. No matter who wins, this match will make a strong case for match of the night.
(PCM) This one makes sense to me. This reminds me more of the old school SS matches were there were several feuds in one match. So there is some semblance of a story here. Also a good mix of WG vets and newbies. I see this as MOTN because we know these women stand on business. My pick is for Team Mami to win and yes I see the trash can coming out from my current fave female main roster member, Iyo Sky

Women’s WWE Championship Match
Stephanie Vaquer(c) vs. Nikki Bella
(DSS) In no world is Nikki Bella dethroning Stephanie Vaquer. It’s a fun feud and it was a shocking twist that Nikki turned on her, but Stephanie clears Nikki in every way. It’s going to be a great moment for Stephanie Vaquer to retain over a Hall of Famer but that’s all there is to it.
(PCM) I have said my piece on the Bellas. This is coming across as ‘I am back because I have nothing else to do’. Stephanie wins and we can move on.

Men’s War Games Match
Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes vs. Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre
(TGBH) Another War Games match that’s focused around Roman Reigns and the Bloodline. And I cant help but picture Seth Rollins fuming at the mouth watching Roman team with Punk AND Rhodes. If Rollins were still here, this match would revolve around him and his championship. Instead we have inserted BOTH Heavyweight Championships into this match with neither being on a Big Four Pay Per View.
(DSS) The men’s teams make somewhat more sense, as they’ve all been tangled in assorted storylines over the last few years. Some of it is beginning to feel stale, but it is what it is. I’m hoping for a shock upset and Team BronBronBrock walk out with the win. There were hints at cracks in the foundation of Team Punk, and this would be great to see them fall apart and put a couple of the younger stars over.
(PCM) This comes across as more cobbled together for me. When Seth went down, they had to scramble. A lot of the same faces as well. I mean, I get it, save this match for the main eventers, but it seems almost like the match as years past, with only a couple of small changes. The bigger story is on the face side. Roman said he is coming for one of the champs, but who? Can the Usos work with the team. Is one of the good guys turning heel? Most of the story is only on one side and I think it hurts it. I see the Vision winning and it will come across as lack of cohesion of the good guys.

IC Heavyweight Championship Match
John Cena(c) vs. Dirty Dom
(PCM) One more match after this. Still feels weird to say it. People are complaining that Dom is getting yet another match, but I see Cena as passing the torch to a guy we already knew was gonna be huge, and I am ok with that. Like I was saying when John won the title, this is starting the slow build back to Dom turning face. The plan is there. Dom has a couple of things to do before that. Beat his stepdad in a match, finally, and get his title back from Cena. And that is what is going to happen. This match is going to likely steal the show. Dom is going top do it without any Judgement Day help and show why he will be a main eventer in the future.
(TGBH) I said it on the Main Event Mixer this morning, Dominik Mysterio has to win. For years of CENA WINS LOL, we lost some great talent with potential that got kicked down the card after taking a loss to Cena. A loss to Cena is never easy to recover from, but the man who cannot be seen doesn’t take many losses either. All this talk about putting over young talent when the only remaining talent in the tournament that deserves the rub is Solo Sikoa, but he’s already a certified main event talent with his own stable of goons. And whilst Dom is a Heavyweight Champion in Mexico, he has yet to solidify his main roster spot on the roster. Not to say he doesnt deserve the spot he is in now, he just needs that little extra nudge to propel him to main event glory. Cena has had his share of moments, most recently finally winning the last championship needed to complete the Grand Slam, he doesn’t need to win this one.
(DSS) Great. John Cena won the title and he’s a Grand Slam Champion now. His tournament has been full of disasters and injuries. Young stars that should have bigger moments have been putting over guys at their retirement ages. There’s no reason Cena needs to walk into SNME holding the title against anyone who is left in the tournament. Dominik Mysterio is the perfect person to get the IC title back and get the last win over Cena. Cena is going to go out on top in his last match, since he doesn’t really put people over. So give Dom his title back while he can.
