(TGBH) Top of the morning mafackas, the bWo is in the house so jump up, jump up, and get down. It’s been a rocky, not Maivia, 2026 in the world of wrestling en route to WrestleMania and to genuinely be honest it could be better. BUT it appears the fed has kicked thangs into a higher gear and that Wrestlemania feeling is starting to kick in. Even though it’s Christmas that’s about Vengeance, says The Grinch, we are getting Vengeance Day in March! The card looks great so far, perhaps we’ll get another match or two before the show goes live, so we’re gonna work with whatever is currently official as the writing of this predictions blog.

(PCM) This is show up time for NXT. A lot of names have been called up. More names will be after WM. It's time to show those new faces and let them ball out. Some of the faces here will be big names on the brand in a year, watch.

(DSS) Time to talk NXT. I’ve got my issues with the brand at the moment, but you all will be spared my anger this time around and you can thank Paperclip Mike for that one. Then again, if you were here to read my rage I guess you can blame him for depriving you of that. Rage aside, it’s going to be a good show. NXT PLEs always are.

(TGBH) This Saturday V is for Vengeance, not Vendetta. The current WWE season is coming to close, you can expect these Superstars to put it all on the line in the second to last NXT PLE before Mania. So let’s get to it yall!!

PreGame w/bWo:

NXT Vengeance Day 2026

NXT Women’s North American Championship

Izzi Dame(c) vs. Tatum Paxley

(TGBH) Two things, first of all, this feels like a feud that has dragged and only slowed down Paxley’s momentum. Secondly, once again, too many belts. The Women’s North American Championship came about in a time where the NXT Women’s Division was DEEP. Not to say this match wont be a good watch, all im saying is there should be a change to the division before or after Mania. I think Paxley sticks around in NXT a little longer, but if there are others called up the division will still only grow thinner. Bring in the next wave of talent to boost the division.

(PCM) This has been a weird feud. This seems like all promo, no confrontation. I don't recall Izzi being out in the crowd much for this. Tatum has been doing all of the heavy lifting. And it shows how far Tatum has come. She will be on top of the division by this time next year. So unless some chicanery happens, we get a new champ here

(DSS) I would say I’m a bit confused that this feud has been going as long as it has, but…NXT doesn’t seem like it has a lot to work with at the moment. Rather, they have plenty to work with but they don’t know how to use the roster properly. For having such a deep, talented roster, I don’t think HBK makes the best choices. Tatum could damn well be on the main roster already, with how complete a star she is, and Izzi should be in the main event of NXT at the very least. I don’t see this continuing much past this event and Tatum needs to be at the top.

The Great Brown Hope's Pick:

Izzi Dame via Pinfall

PaperClip Mike's Pick:

Tatum Paxley via Pinfall

Darkstar Shady's Pick:

Tatum Paxley via Pinfall

Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan

(DSS) This could be a huge match for Kelani Jordan. Lola Vice comes into the match 2-2 against Jordan, and 3-0 in Underground matches. I think Underground is the coolest stipulation in the company, and I’m excited for this one. Lola Vice has been on the up-and-up, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her join Damian Priest on SmackDown. It would be a huge moment for Kelani to beat her in an underground match on her way out.

Darkstar Shady's Pick:

Kelani Jordan via Knockout

The Great Brown Hope's Pick:

Lola Vice via Knockout

PaperClip Mike's Pick:

Lola Vice via Submission

Tony D’Angelo vs. Dion Lennox

(TGBH) It’s the battle of the Deez, D’Angelo versus Dion. I dont see what they wanna do with D'Angeblows, who has overstayed his NXT tenure up to this point. Dude has done it all, why still loom around? I said it before that D’Angelo woulda been an excellent addition to The Vision instead of Theory or Paul, two stars who dont need the rub. There’s big plans in place for the guy they named after legendary reggaeton duo Zion and Lennox, a win here will just add to the resume they are working to build for the kid. Tony D is in the role that’ll help transition the midcard guys to the next level, and we all know they need stars now more than ever.

The Great Brown Hope's Pick:

Zion Lennox via Pinfall

PaperClip Mike's Pick:

Tony D’Angelo via Pinfall

Darkstar Shady's Pick:

Tony D’Angelo via Pinfall

Street Fight

Blake Monroe vs. Jaida Parker

(PCM) If you asked me if Blake was being fast-tracked to the main roster when she debuted, I would have said yes. Now? No clue. It seems like she is spinning wheels. Now Jaida? Who knew she would come out the strongest after being teamed up with OTM 2.0? It gives me Carmella vibes in that sense. In fact, if this pace keeps going, we are going to see Jaida pass her by. And it is coming soon. Gimme Jaida in her breakout moment.

PaperClip Mike's Pick:

Jaida Parker via Pinfall

Darkstar Shady's Pick:

Blake Monroe via Pinfall

The Great Brown Hope's Pick:

Blake Monroe via Pinfall

NXT Championship Match

Joe Hendry(c) vs. Ricky Saints

(DSS) This is the main event of an NXT PLE. A guy who was world champion of another company, vs. the guy who was already the world champion and midcard champ of NXT, who could already use a call-up. The thing is, NXT NEEDS both of these guys. As deep as the NXT women’s roster is, the men’s roster is severely lacking. After losing Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans and I assume Ethan Page in the very-near future, they don’t have anyone else to spare. It’s a shame they don’t have Wes Lee to fall back on, and trying to court David Finlay failed. So here we are, Joe Hendry vs. Ricky Saints. Two guys who deserve main roster exposure, stuck battling in developmental for a title because no one else can. Hendry retains clean.

(TGBH) Joe Hendry and Ricky Saints didnt need an NXT stint, but here we are. I dont see this feud ending anytime soon. We’ll get a follow up match for Stand and Deliver, whether we want it or not. Hendry already competed at WrestleMania against Randy Orton last year, can it get any bigger than that? Hendry is bigger than NXT at this point and is Smackdown bound post Mania. Give Saints the belt back and book him to beat Hendry again at S&D.

(PCM) This is going to be your main feud way after Wrestlemania? Why? They have no one else. Do I like both men? Yes. But the need to plug up the roster holes soon. Show why these two are the best of NXT. But also show who is coming after them. We don’t need the Oba situation, where he beat everyone and left no one to threaten him. But, I see Joe retaining.

Darkstar Shady's Pick:

Joe Hendry via Pinfall

The Great Brown Hope's Pick:

Ricky Saints via Pinfall

PaperClip Mike's Pick:

Joe Hendry via Pinfall
