One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
February 27, 2026 - March 2, 2026

We just had a hell of a weekend of WWE with Elimination Chamber right in the middle. There’s a lot of headlines floating around, as well that I want to touch on.
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton is rumored to be the WrestleMania championship matchup. I’m completely fine with this, as its been teased for damn near the entirety of Cody’s title runs. If he can snatch the title back on Friday, this is guaranteed to be an amazing, heartbreaking match.
Jade Cargill doesn’t have a lot of friends in the locker room. It could all be a work to make the stakes feel bigger, but the lack of interactions Jade really has on weekly TV, this could go either way. But quite a few women have been jumping into Jade’s X mentions after her and Rhea went back and forth and Rhea told her to “learn to work.”
There’s very conflicting reports on Royce Keys either having no direction prepared from creative, versus reports saying he’s being prepared and built up slowly for a SmackDown debut. I’m just lost on where exactly he’s going to slot into any program, yet. He’s a really cool signing but I’m not sure of the necessity.
Alright, now for the reason we’re all here:
One Match
This is the spot that I struggled with the most this week, but one of my absolute favorites was in action so I can’t legally give this spot to anyone else.
Tiffany Stratton and Kairi Sane put on a good match on Friday night after Asuka said she needed to stay rested for the Elimination Chamber. I always love seeing Tiffany in the ring, and we had the added bonus of Chelsea Green at ringside. Even in a boot, Chelsea Green found herself as part of the action. Honestly, I might rewatch this match now because it had a bit of everything. And of course, my fave came out victorious.
One Moment
Gunther pulling Dragon Lee’s mask off has been the hot topic on social media since it happened. It looks like a planned spot, but the heat Gunther (and WWE, and SRS) have been getting from this spot has everyone talking.
Gunther is far from my favorite, but this was a great moment for him as a heel. He keeps finding ways to up the crowds’ hatred of him. I can’t be mad at a heel being a heel.
One Promo
How could I give this to anyone but Liv Morgan? She looked absolutely amazing as she spoke about how she deserves her spot at the top. She acknowledged her own privilege and low key gave Stephanie her flowers with a couple of quick comments while still finding ways to insult Stephanie Vaquer.
Stephanie’s title reign was feeling a bit forced. Her interactions have all been the same regardless of who was across from her. Liv is bringing a lot more out of her, and their promos are making the match feel more important than any other than Stephanie has been in, even without thinking about the fact that it’s going to be at WrestleMania.
Elimination Chamber
I want to go through this before I get to my honorable mentions for the week, as some of them tie together.
The women’s Chamber match was fantastic. Kiana James continues to absolutely kill it in the ring. Raquel Rodriguez continues to impress and show everyone why I’ve always been right about being high on her as a star. Tiffany Stratton was the true star, despite Rhea winning. The Chamber continues to be a star making event for Tiffy, as she started the match and was the last eliminated, bloody face and all.
I knew they wouldn’t pull the trigger on Finn Balor. I had hopes, but it was absolutely pointless to pretend he would walk out as champion. The match wasn’t great, and Punk really slowed the pace down. Finn deserves better
The men’s chamber actually surprised me. I didn’t see Randy Orton winning, but with all the rumors of a Cody-Randy matchup, and the unexpected Cody title shot, it all starts coming together. But can we talk for a minute about two people first? Trick Williams has the crowd going crazy every time he comes out. Did anyone get a louder pop and reaction? And Logan Paul absolutely dominated the chamber. If we hadn’t gotten a Seth Rollins return then Logan would have won. He’ll be a world champion by the next WrestleMania.
Honorable Mentions
You know what is nowhere near making my list? Dominik Mysterio dropped his Intercontinental Championship. Daddy Dom lost to Penta, in a match that actually showcased Dom’s wrestling skills. I can’t believe this. Danhausen’s curse ruined everything.
Seth Rollins unmasked again.
Nia and Lash dethroned Rhiyo as tag champions, which I don’t hate. But it also means Rhiyo is splitting up and going to separate brands and I do hate that.
That’s it everyone. Thanks for reading another week, and I’ll catch y’all at the next one.
