With that said

Welcome everyone, yall know what yall came here for! It's time for another....

Gary Gordon, or better known as Angelo Dawkins is NO stranger to the spotlight. And like Juelz Santana in trouble in need of bail money, Montez Ford is his boy. And oh boy have they been succesful. As the Street Profits, Dawkins and Ford have won numerous tag team championships. But that's another Storee for another day as we have not gathered here to tell a Storee about the Street Profits. Oh no no.

We're here to give Angelo Dawkins what he deserves.

We are here to give Angelo Dawkins his flowers.

Upon arriving to the Fed, Angelo Dawkins had won national championships in college for football, track, and of course, wrestling. This new kid on the block already had a bunch of hits. No stranger to the grind, Dawkins had the tools needed to succeed. A proven athlete with one hell of a track record (see what I did there?), Dawkins was a perfect prospect in the next batch of stars in the making. And if you ask The Great Brown Hope, he'll say Angelo Dawkins is a Superstar.

Angelo Dawkins made his televised WWE NXT debut against a red hot Sami Zayn. In his debut match Dawkins was able to display his amateur wrestling background with focused mat wrestling using his strength to overpower Zayn. Just a spark of what was to come from the future WWE Tag Team Champion. Even in defeat, Dawkins showed he had what it takes to compete with the crop of NXT talent at the time. And that crop was DEEP.

From there Dawkins would work the NXT House Show circuit not only in singles competition but also teaming in stints with Colin Cassady and Sawyer Fullton. Fun bit of knowledge coming at ya! One point in time, Chad Gable led a stable on NXT House Shows that consisted of members Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Sawyer Fullton, Tucker Knight, and our boy Angelo Dawkins. A collective of amateur wrestlers known as The Shoot Nation.

Dawkins would spend three years working the House Show tours making limited NXT TV appearances. But that wasn't going to stop Dawkins. AD would continue to hone his craft and tweak his character in the process, taking advantage of the continued exposure to live crowds. And while many stars that came before and after were either moving up to the main roster or moving on somewhere else, Dawkins was there and played a part in helping plenty of talent become the Superstars they are today. But Dawkins was stuck in a revolving door with no exit in sight, with little to no success to add weight to his name. Dawkins was just another stepping stone for the talent that had next. But all of that was about to change. Angelo Dawkins' future was about to look a little brighter than it ever did.

On the March 16, 2016 televised episode of NXT television, Angelo Dawkins would team with Kenneth Crawford taking a loss to the team of Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder, the Brothers of Hype. Dawkins and Crawford would continue working the NXT House Show circuit together to round out 2016. Towards the end of the year they were able to find their image, Crawford would become Montez Ford. The Street Profits were here, and they had next. And on the August 9, 2017 airing of NXT, Dawkins and Ford would debut and pick up their first victory as the Street Profits against the Metro Brothers. And the rest, is historee.

Through the years the Street Profits have built a name, reputation, and a legacy that'll hold up to any of the greater tags teams of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. And through the years, the talks of Montez Ford being the future star of the two have run wild throughout all sectors of IWC fantasy booking. Ford has shown flashes of greatness on multiple occasions for all to see. But what about Angelo Dawkins? Is there no love for the man that worked NXT's system under the overwhelming and continuing pressures of having to fit and survive amongst such a heavy class of athletes?

The Great Brown Hope has always been very vocal of the greatness that Angelo Dawkins can be as a solo star. A talent more than capable of adjusting to working as a singles Superstar. I can say I have witnessed moments where Dawkins has proven he is more than good enough to run among the main event stars of today.

Dawkins continues to improve and show how fluid and natural he can be not only in the ring but on the microphone as well. With plenty of charisma and more than enough experience, I can see Angelo Dawkins having a run as great as those the Internet Wrestling Community sees in store for Montez Ford. And not til just recent showings have the fans caught on and appreciated the work that Angelo Dawkins can do, for it is those recent instances that further prove my point that Dawkins is a beast in the making.

On May 10, 2024, Angelo Dawkins competed in quite possibly the biggest match of his career. Angelo Dawkins would sub in for Bobby Lashley in his scheduled match against Tama Tonga. Angelo Dawkins had a shot to become King of the Ring. But did anyone think he would win? The Great Brown Hope did, but did anyone else?

But even in the face of adversity, Dawkins was gonna come out and leave it all in the ring just to prove he was worthy of such an honor. And in what was an exciting, face paced, back and forth match, Angelo Dawkins silenced ALL of the doubters. ALL the naysayers suddenly had nothing but great things to say about Dawkins. Even in defeat, Dawkins proved he wasn't to be taken lightly. And if it wasn't for Dawkins having to help Montez Ford on the outside, Dawkins might have won the match and advanced further into the tournament.

And while the Street Profits lived to fight another day against the New Bloodline, I cant help but feel that all Angelo Dawkins is being held back as a solo Superstar. Angelo Dawkins has proven he is leaps and bounds better than most, better than those that couldn't graduate the NXT system, and a whole lot better than a good chunk of talent on the current WWE roster. And that's not to kick dirt at anyone, it's just facts that some refuse to acknowledge the same way some refuse to acknowledge the greatness that is Angelo Dawkins.

It's time for Angelo Dawkins to finally branch out on his own and attain what he deserves because Dawkins is more than just a tag team wrestler. And Dawkins sure as hell isn't gonna be another Marty Jannetty. Turning Angelo Dawkins on Montez Ford will make Dawkins one of the most despised heels on the roster, and possibly one of the most dangerous heels as well. Give Dawkins a couple of goons by his side that will be loyal to his cause. I'd say call up the OTM crew from NXT and let them run amuck together on Montez Ford and the rest of the Smackdown roster. Cody Rhodes is gonna need more opponents, and a hungry, Heel Angelo Dawkins would make the perfect all around opponent. And with some thugs like OTM at his side, Admiral Dawkins will be unstoppable.

The Great Brown Hope can only hope Dawkins gets his chance to run with the big dawgs and solidify his spot among the ranks of the greats. Hard work pays off, and no one has worked harder than Angelo Dawkins. Angelo Dawkins' storee is one of perseverance and determination. A truly inspirational talent that not only deserves more credit than he receives, but a talent that truly deserves his flowers.
