WELCOME TOOOOOOOO

Michael Paris, who many know as Joaquin Wilde, had one long journey to travel before he made it to the WWE. Like his current tag partner, Michael Paris does not come from a wrestling or lucha background. Paris was gonna have to work, work, work, work, work.

Paris would embark on said journey in 2003, where he began his training at the age of 16. Shortly after, Paris would become Shiima Xion, the First Filipino Male Model of Wrestling.

Shiima Xion would go on to wrestle his first match for the Black Diamond Wrestling promotion against Jason Gory. And the rest, was historee.

Shiima Xion would continue wrestling in West Virginia and Ohio for the next 2 years. Once he turned 18, Shiima Xion began competing for International Wrestling Cartel, Chikara, Far North Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Unplugged. In 2008 Xion would even capture the vacant IWC World Heavyweight Championship but lose it after his first title defense against Raymond Rowe (Erik from the Viking Raiders).

Shiima Xion would also make the tour down past the border. His style would mesh very well with the Lucha Libre talent as well as help add some extra pizzazz to his offense and personality. Xion's hairspraying antics would take him to Desastre Total Ultraviolento in Mexico City competing against the likes of El Generico, Crazy Boy, Extreme Tiger, Aero Boy, and Ragde.

But fate had more in store for Shiima Xion. The Four Winds carried Shiima Xion to greener pastures, as it was time to bring his rising star power into the national spotlight. Shiima Xion had made it.

Twas the night of June 23, 2011 (just before Half-Christmas Eve) Shiima Xion would debut on TNA Impact as Zema Ion.

Zema Ion would pick up his first victory on his first night with the brand against Dakota Darsow and Federico Palacios. This Three-Way X Division match was for a spot in the finals of a tournament for a TNA Contract. At Destination X, the finals of the tournament came down to Zema Ion vs Austin Aries vs Jack Evans vs Low Ki. Gotta go outta your way to watch that one if it's the next thing you do. The competition was heavy, stiff, quick, and brutally awesome. Watching these four do what they do best just to earn a spot on the TNA roster gives this match the importance it commands.

Zema Ion became a superstar that night. Even in defeat, Zema Ion truly got a chance to shine and display every little trick he picked up during his run in the underground/independent scene. And it was that display that earned him a spot on the roster anyway. See, you never really know who is watching.

Over the course of the next year Zema Ion would prove to be a pivotal piece of TNA's X Division. After numerous failed attempts to take the X Division Championship from Austin Aries, Zema Ion would finally taste mainstream gold in the form of TNA gold.

At Destination X, Zema Ion entered another tournament. Upon defeating Flip Cassanova, Zema Ion would now advance to the finals. The final round of this tournament would be an Ultimate X match with the X Division Championship up for grabs. And with a little help from Zema Ion's trusty, loyal, handy, dandy hair spray, Zema Ion would defeat Kenny King, Mason Andrews, and Sonjay Dutt to become the TNA X Division Champion. Not only that, but Zema Ion is also the FIRST Filipino Champion in TNA.

And now, with his perfectly sprayed hair and shiny new belt, Zema Ion would make numerous succesful defenses against Kenny King, Sonjay Dutt, and Douglas Williams. After 98 days, Zema Ion's reign would come to an end against Rob Van Dam at TNA's Bound for Glory Premium Live Event. After a few failed attempts to regain his lost championship, Zema Ion would be shelved with an injury.

Zema Ion would return as DJ Z, the inhouse DJ for The BroMans. And in due time DJ Z would carry the TNA X Division Championship again. Over the next few months of TNA television, DJ Z would successly defend his championship against Trevor Lee, Eddie Edwards, Marshe Rockett, Braxton Sutter, Mandrews, and Andrew Everett. But on January 11, DJZ would lose his TNA X Division Championship to Trevor Lee.

Now came a time period where DJ Z was not being used on tv with his status in limbo and contract in question. DJ Z would go back to his roots and compete in Mexico.

April 5, 2017, The Crash held an event Mexico City and DJ Z was on the card. Upon taking a 450 Splash from Laredo Kid, DJ Z was rushed to a Mexican Medical Facility to have emergency surgery for a ruptured colon. But the party wasn't gonna stop and the fists were gonna keep pumping (sit down Zack Ryder!). DJ Z would return to IWC to take on Adam Cole. After rounding out a tour of the indies, Mexico, and Japan, DJ Z would return to TNA. On the Last Day of the Year of 2018, DJ Z would announce his free agency.

May 14, 2019, the Fed announced that Michael Paris was coming to WWE, hairspray and all. Things were about to get WILDE.

Joaquin Wilde would have his debut WWE match on the June 26,2019 episode of NXT television. Wilde would lose in the first round of the NXT Breakout Tournament against Angel Garza.

But because of his years spent perfecting his craft, it didn't take long for Joaquin Wilde to find his place on the NXT roster. Years and years grinding to earn his place. Dues were paid in the form of blood, sweat, and tears. But it wasn't for nothing as Wilde is now an established Superstar with quite a storee of hardships, heartbreak, and triumph. His name now in the stars forever, a dream many work decades to make come true. It didn't take long for Joaquin Wilde to find his forever. And it didn't take long for Joaquin Wilde to find his family, Legado Del Fantasma.
