One Match, One Moment, One Promo:
May 22-25, 2026

What’s up everyone! It’s been a long time. Life has been hard, and writing has been even harder. It’s more of a challenge than I expected it to be to get my first blog out again.
The last couple months have been hard. My grandpa was sick and in the hospital, and then passed away. And multiple people I work with have had family members pass away, so we’ve been trading off time off for funerals and grieving.
I’m trying to get back on track, so I’m going to skip the news and just go straight into why we’re here.
One Match
I’ve been waiting for this match for so long, and man it delivered. What’s crazy is I’m a huge Carmelo Hayes guy, but I’m 100% okay with Trick winning and Melo taking his time getting the championship back.
Trick Williams has come a long way the last couple years, and I loved how much the crowd was behind both of the men in the ring.
One Moment
It was a quick moment, but Maxxine Dupri standing up for Austin Theory could have rippling consequences.
Now see, it would be really cool for this to be Maxxine turning heel. She’d be great as an angry character coming back for her Intercontinental Championship, but I want something different. I need her to find the good side of Austin Theory and bridge him back to the light side. I want babyface Austin Theory so fucking badly.
One Promo
This one was hard to pick, because nothing really stands out in my mind right away.
What does stand out is the way Jacy Jayne completely owns the crowd. Fatal Influence overall is getting Dominik Mysterio levels of heat and I love it. I was already a huge Fallon Henley fan, but I’ve really come around on Jacy over the last couple months. Jacy is working the crowd reactions perfectly, and she’s thriving.
Conclusions
I really enjoyed SmackDown this past week, but Raw felt flat and short in comparison.
My Saturday Night Main Event predictions were all awful and…It was a SNME. Nothing particularly special.
See y’all in a week!
