(TGBH) What is up everyone! We have returned once again with another predictions blog! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, it’s WrestleMania season baby. It’s like getting all the big holidays over the course of the first four months of the year! And this Saturday we’ve got the Royal Rumble, so why not put some predictions onto paper amirite?

(PCM) This is normally my favorite PLE of the year, but I am so uninterested. Part of it could be it being in Saudi Arabia, part of it could be that there is no buildup until the last day. I always said that I think it would be fun to have no names before the rumble, but now that I pretty much got it, I don’t want it. We will see how it goes.

(DSS) We are on the road to WrestleMania, and the Rumble is the biggest stepping stone along the way. It also happens to be my favorite event of the year. If you have friends or family that you’ve been trying to convince to watch WWE, the Rumble is the place to start them. The build has been a little lackluster, but it doesn’t even matter when we’re getting ready for 30 men and 30 women to compete for WrestleMania title shots.

(TGBH) The clock is counting down the last few seconds which means we have absolutely no time to waste! Let’s get to it yall!!

PreGame w/bWo:

Royal Rumble 2026

Women's Rumble Match

(PCM) Wow, they couldn’t give one shit about this rumble, could they? Part of me does wonder if it has to do with the location, but who knows. Some people have spoiled some surprises, because we can’t have nice things. This could be easily be anyone since they havent really answered anyone. But if I had to choose, gimme Liv or Raquel Rodríguez as a dark horse.

(DSS) I can’t believe we have to see the women wrestle in Saudi Arabia. It’s unfair to the men that their rumble is going to be overshadowed by the women’s! I’m at a loss as to who we get as surprise entrants this year—I’d love to see some AAA talent make the jump, but I don’t know that WWE would put in the effort. At the very least, I’d love to see Zaria in the Rumble. This might be the night where Bianca Belair finally returns, which could set her up against Jade Cargill. The winner, however, is going to be Liv Morgan. She’s been the runner-up in too many big moments to not win this year. It will be perfect for her to headline WrestleMania against Raquel (after she’s beaten Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship).

(TGBH) All I see are complaints about the women’s attire. Are we tuning in for a Women’s Rumble Match or not? Regardless of attire, this will be another stepping stone for the women’s division as they continue to make history. We’ve got a few favorites going into this one and some big names have already been announced. With Jade Cargill and Stephanie Vaquer as current champs, I’m picking Nia Jax to win this one. Nia Jax doesn’t need to win the belt at Wrestlemania, but a Royal Rumble win would look great on her resume. She has the record for most eliminations and is the only woman to have competed in the Men’s and Women’s rumble matches on the same night. And whoever she challenges would come out looking like a hell a champ after beating Nia Jax. Nia Jax is on a run of a lifetime and deserves another accolade of this magnitude for all the work she continues to do to support and elevate the current Women's Division.

WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre(c) vs. Sami Zayn

(DSS) Sami was my original Rumble pick. Now that he’s got a title shot, you’ll have to read on to see who I’m replacing him with. I thought he was going to have his big moment in Saudi; it’s too bad he’s going against Drew McIntyre, who is absolutely not dropping his title before WrestleMania. Drew has too many feuds that mean more to the overall storylines in WWE than anything Sami has going on. This is 100% a match that’s happening because Sami is ridiculously over in Saudi, not because it makes sense for anything else.

(TGBH) There is no way in hell Run Drew MC drops the belt here. McIntyre has worked his ass off the past few years and deserves a nice lengthy reign that includes a successful defense ar Wrestlemania. And it’s not that I dont like Sami Zayn, I just think it’s time to switch up his character a bit. They missed that boat when they didn’t have him fall in line with Karrion Kross but nonetheless here we are and Sami Zayn has his third Heavyweight Championship match on a big pay per view. He deserves it, but Drew deserves the title more.

(PCM) Welp, there goes my pick for the Rumble. However, if you remember my SNME prediction, I did pick this, and I stand by my reasoning. Sami does have a good chance of a world title this year, but not here. Drew has deserved a good title reign that everyone could see. He has been putting in the work and deserves to be recognized.

Drew McIntyre via Pinfall

AJ Styles vs. Gunther

(TGBH) Have y’all seen how much talent AEW has picked up since Jericho’s contract came to end? TNA has made announcements as to re-signing their biggest stars for a reason. Sure those Superstars got new deals for more cheese, but is TNA done? I think TNA has made a solid pitch to AJ Styles to end his career the way he wants to end it. AJ Styles has specifically mentioned it may be his last match in the fed. Maybe that’s why someone like Shinsuke Nakamura wanted a match knowing he wouldn’t get one with AJ if he went to TNA. AJ Styles doesn’t need a Heavyweight or X-Division championship. AJ goes out having bangers with the new breed and the new main eventers, matches that’ll help sell more tickets for TNA as they ride into their new era. Gunther is a career killer keeps him away from the title whilst still being an attraction. Gunther wins after knocking Styles out.

(PCM) Somebody made a good point about AJ. Over the last year, he has been putting on bangers and has done a few stops at TNA. He has been doing his farewell tour and no one knew it. I like that train of thought. He did say he did not want a big ol hullabaloo. So we get the farewell and the continuation of the best thing to happen to Gunther since the IC title.

(DSS) AJ Styles vs. The Career Killer. AJ Styles got his win against Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown, so he can put Gunther over on the way out. Gunther, who doesn’t need this gimmick of retiring the legends at all. Gunther, who was a better IC champ than he was world. Regardless, AJ doesn’t want fanfare, so doing the company a solid on his way out makes sense for him.

The Great Brown Hope'a Pick:

Gunther via Knockout

Men’s Rumble Match

(PCM)The last year or so, WWE has actually done a decent job in building up fresh faces, and I see it happening here. We know all the big names are getting big matches with each other , so why waste a spot on them. I wanna see someone new who is on the track to be a big name in just a few years. I think he is ready for the step. Maybe not win at WM, but his first taste of the main event, likely night one. Gimme Bron Breakker.

(DSS) I need Samantha Irving back for this one: “He is your winner of the 2023, 2024 and now 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble, The American Nightmare Cooodyyyyy Rhodes!” They’re absolutely going to do it. I don’t care if Oba Femi appears at the Rumble for his main roster debut. Powerhouse Hobbs can debut but he’s not getting the spotlight. Chris Jericho can make his debut back in WWE with his reinvented physique. Hell, Seth Rollins’ return may have been spoiled on ESPN. It doesn’t matter. Cody Rhodes is going to tie Stone Cold’s record for Rumble wins. It’s going to piss off the fans, and I will thrive in the chaos. The Rock called us fans Cody Crybabies, and I’m proud to stick by his side even if the rest of y’all start to hate him for being on top. Get ready to learn the lyrics to Kingdom, buddy.

(TGBH) I feel like this men’s rumble match will be another edition of the “let’s play it safe” and someone that the crowd will pop for will get the win. I expect some big names as surprise entrants, names of entertainers that have been to Saudi Arabia and are part of the extended WWE Universe. We’re certainly getting all the heavy hitters, both of Our Tribal Chiefs, every member of the vision, and Oba Muthafucken Femi. But there is only person I see walking out of this with the win, and that’s Main Event Jey Uso. Jey will enter at the number one spot like a Ludacris song and will outlast everyone and win the Rumble, again. If Sami beats Drew, Jey Uso wins the Rumble. Four letters, one word, uh-uh, YEET!
